I didn't stay. There were construction workers every where, the location was bad, and the pool over-looked the Whataburger parking lot. Not a good place for a solo woman to feel safe.

Place is well kept. Bedding was too firm and the pillows were not great.

Check in was easy and efficient. Air conditioner was nice and cool but the couch and chairs were so dirty. I don’t know what substance was left on them. Disgusting we covered them with left with sheets that were spares. Will not stay there again. Poole is very small.

We checked out when we came back from a soccer game the room smelled like chemicals so bad. I couldn’t breathe in the room and I instantly got a headache once I entered the room. The smell was so strong when we got there and we left for my son’s soccer game hoping it would clear out when we got back. It did not. So we left and checked out

The rooms were outdated, the mattress was very uncomfortable due to age. They were however doing so work to make the foyer and dining area more presentable.

Our stay this time was a short one, only because that’s all we needed to make use of some business near by on the following day from when we checked in, we’ve stayed here often, it’s always been a very nice place for us, so there’s no need to go elsewhere here in McKinney.

The hotel can use some updating but it was clean, I felt safe and enjoyed my stay
