My experience here was fantastic! The hotel is spectacular with an exquisite design. The food is well prepared, healthy. Ambience is inviting. Staff is friendly & courteous. And last, but not least the beautiful views from everywhere. I highly recommend this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at hotel Alta La Paloma’s. Amazing hospitality, our room was ok, our view on the balcony made up for it! Beautiful scenery, amazing food. The perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Santa Ana, Costa Rica. The is an animal rescue in walking distance, which was a plus, all proceeds go to help the animals. There is also a butterfly sanctuary not too drive far from the hotel, which was super nice,

Best boutique/independent hotel in San Jose.

The driveway needs a redesign, I requested a toothbrush and they charged me $5 and the space just seems a bit tired. The staff was wonderful!

If you are looking for a quiet hotel this is the place. It has charm but a little dated. The restaurant and pool is wonderful. Nice amenities when you arrive.

This property was absolutely stunning. When we arrived we were so frustrated from the drive but the staff gave us a welcome refresher drink and accompanied us to our room. We ate dinner and breakfast and both meals were hot, very tasty and simply delicious. I wish we would have stay 6 days at this luxury hotel.

Great place to relaxing

The staff and the property are wonderful. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the hotel is beautiful. The bar/restaurant is old-school cool, and the room is clean, quiet and authentic. We have loved our stay and would highly recommend

If I could review them with zero stars I would. The customer service is the worst we have encountered in our multiple trips to Costa Rica. Spare yourself the trouble and spend your money at a good place that values the essence of the Pura Vida lifestyle because this place definitely leaves much to be desired.

Beautiful property design. Old world Spanish.

This place was a gem. There were minor things in need of touch ups due to the age of the hotel which is understandable but it honestly just added to the beauty. It was private and quiet and we felt like we were in a palace. The rooms were beautiful, the hotel had so much charm and the little added touches they included for us were such a treat. Possibly my favorite hotel we stayed at.

I frequently stop in San Jose on my way to Guanacaste. I always stay at Alta Las Palomas! Great views, delicious breakfast and dinner. Staff is always smiling and happy to help. Next time I hope to try the outdoor pool :D

Astonishingly architected building with a lovely restaurant and a serene pool. Would definitely stay here again.

It was great.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. It was a very unique space that looks like a small castle. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable. We spent a fair amount of time enjoying the magnificent views from the balcony. The pool area was cool. Location was great, not far from Escazu. Highly recommend.
