My partner and I had 5 nights here recently and absolutely loved it. We even got a random free room upgrade (and got told it was the best room in the hotel, what a win!). Buffet breakfast was nice and had plenty of options. We didn't go to any of the three restaurants as we went into the Old Town for dinner, but I'm sure they're nice too. Only very minor thing was the light outside out room only worked sporadically, so it was very dark coming back in the evenings.

The staff was extremely friendly, and the service/attentiveness was wonderful! I enjoyed my stay and the room was comfortable and spacious.

I’m not gonna lie, I was most excited for this hotel. The pictures looked amazing. I was a little disappointed upon arrival. When we checked in they gave us a little run down of going to beach and hotel amenities felt like a little “nickel and dimey”. We got to our room and it was ok, pretty run down and dated but that didn’t bother us because as long as we have A/C we were happy. We opened the door to our room and found a huge cockroach waiting for us. Luckily my husband worked fast and killed it immediately. We chopped it up to a one off and put a towel under our door thereafter. The next morning ANOTHER roach attempted to enter our room! Ugh I couldn’t sleep the rest of the trip. The overall grounds of the hotel were pretty unkempt and dirty so we kind of understood where that came from. But needless to say we would not stay here again. I will say it’s nice they have a free shuttle to the beach so that was a plus.

Foi tudo excelente. A localizacao era praticamente do lado da estacao rodoviaria (100m) e a da marina e da estacao de trem uns 500 metros, o conforto, os funcionários todos solícitos e simpáticos. Tinha frigobar, item essencial q busco qdo reservo um hotel e o supermercado pingo doce (o melhor de Portugal) tb ficava uns 500m (vc anda um pouquinho passando por trás do resort). Muitos restaurantes, inclusive um mais simples em frente a entrada do hotel. Quem estava cansado de caminhar era só chegar, sentar e pedir.Jantei num dos restaurantes do Tivoli chamado "Pateo Velho" e pedi bacalhau...foi um manjar dos deuses...estava espetacular. Agradecimentos ao Chef Vlad, ao Vitor e Angelica que me atenderam com muita competencia, gentileza e simpatia.Com certeza voltarei e recomendarei a todos que me perguntarem dicas de hoteis em Lagos.

They were misleading at the reception and the food was bad

Fui usar o Wi-Fi deles e entrou vírus no celular, banheiros velhos e cheirando esgoto, sem acessibilidade.

This hotel is not what it pictures at all. All of the pictures posted by the hotel are absolutely filtered, from the pools, rooms, food, service. The gym is laughable. I can keep going on and on about the terrible experience we had at the tivoli Lagos. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is very run down and out dated. Rooms were not comfortable, no phone to reach the front desk, blow dryers are horrible. Location is nice for walking

Tivoli Lagos was overall nice. It's an older property so lot of things were dated. We got upgraded to a suite which was really nice with a big wrapped around terrace with a stunning view however since this hotel is pretty old there weren't that many plug outlets in our suite. This might not be an issue for a lot of people but it was for us as my husband is a professional photographer and videographer and has lot of equipments that needed to be charged including both of our laptops. The bathroom sink was growing mold in the back which was gross and we requested to clean that up but was never done. Breakfast was mediocre and some staff at the breakfast were not friendly at all. But other than these hotel is location is very convenient. Only a few minute walk to the square and marina. It was safe and quiet. They had designated parking lot which was really convenient if you are renting a car. All in all it was good.

Staying in this hotel was a huge error of judgment The hotel badly needs renovation, the pool area is very tiny, the staff is rude and and there are many other hotels near the city center to stay at much better quality

I highly recommend getting a massage. 30 minutes is only 34 euro. Buffett breakfast was excellent, lots of options. Overall, exceptional place to stay.
