A great hotel- in a perfect location. We had 2 tube stations nearby and were able to get almost anywhere in London from there. The hotel is next door to the charterhouse and across form a park- so it is really wonderful and quiet at night. the room was great, clean and all the features you could need. Would recommend and stay there again.

The hotel is situated between Barbican and Farringdon stations, which made it a great location. It is also next to the Charterhouse which has a great museum and courtyard. The hotel room itself was spacious and clean and most importantly quiet. My only issue was the shower - the water didn’t get very hot and I was shivering during most of my showers because there was no shower door that could be closed, leaving me exposed and cold. The shower head was a rainfall one, so I felt like I was drowning most shower. Other than that, the stay was great.

A quiet and historic corner of London. Staff were extremely friendly and rooms well appointed. They were too dark for me however. We needed late food post theatre which they did supply quickly but it is a very limited menu. We would stay again.

Very good Hotel and walkable from Tube station. Good Service and breakfast. Price is with almost 600€ for two nights in my opinion a bit too high.

I paid £30 for an upgrade as it was my husbands birthday had a lovely room with a balloon & Prosecco voucher when we arrived . Used the voucher in the bar at 2.40pm & we were the only people in .

A lovely 3 night stay at this hotel. It had everything we needed, and was a short walk from 2 underground stations (Barbican & Faringdon). A big thank you to Victor on Reception for such a friendly welcome when we checked in, and helping us during our stay.

Nice room booked at the very last second (missed train!). Room was pleasant but the bathroom was disappointing: the sink didn’t have any running cold water.

Rooms are great. Staff are lovely. Breakfast was a expensive for what it was.

Property & room were actually pretty nice. The metro station is 1/2 block w lots of vagrants wandering around. While walking to the nearest store (1/2 mile & closed) we witnessed a driver & pedestrian (& husband) get into a screaming match that escalated into men bumping chests screaming obscenities while the woman had to be subdued while kicking & screaming obscenities. Just that creepy vibe you get when you think bullets are about to start flying! It was also over an hour from the airport. No decent restaurants nearby & it didn’t feel particularly safe walking anyway. Only convenient for business people wanting to work 24/7. Victor was very nice, restaurant staff were very nice & blonde German girl who checked us in was very combative & abrasive. We didn’t consider this a particularly good or safe neighborhood outside the hotel & will definitely never stay there again.

A nice stay.

Very warm welcome on arrival, given room 105 which was on the first floor directly over the front doors.Room looked lovely on first impression came with all the extras you’d expect with a delux room . That’s the pros , the cons a couple of times in the early hours someone decided to empty bottles into the recycling bin and numerous deliveries were made directly under my window through the night complete with reversing beeps and hydraulic platforms raising & lowering added to that this made the fact that the mattress was really quite hard …..overall maybe I was just unlucky with the location of my room but I was disappointed for the price I paid
