I recommend that guests double-check and confirm with the front desk whether their deposit will be refunded automatically or if they need to swipe their card in person. I was very frustrated when the front desk employee told me during check-out that I didn’t need to swipe my card to get the deposit refund. However, after driving an hour away, the front desk called me back to inform me that I had to return to swipe the card in person......Lost my time and gas.

Quick overnight stay. Seemed like a convenient area. I was placed in the basement, which was convenient because I wanted to use the laundry, but I agree with the prior review which indicated the basement felt sort of "dungeon" like. The laundry cost 2.50 for a wash and 2.50 for the dryer… It does not give change so if you can, get quarters! Otherwise it will just eat the 50 Cents off your looney. I arrived to the breakfast a few minutes after 10… Not much left and not a lot of protein choices for people who don't eat pigs. The omelettes had ham, and there was sausage, not much else. All the standard sugary stuff… Waffles, cereal, yogurt Accessibility minded folks… It's important to know that accessing the property from the front can be challenging. There is a parking lot in the back, and you have to navigate some stairs to enter from the parking lot.. the front entryway has stairs and a ramp but you can't park there and unload your belongings. There is a single parking space at the business next-door, if it's open… You could use that, but the main parking is not accessibility friendly.

Wonderful hotel and location. Nice and clean. All the staff were friendly. The lobby is a nice cozy spot where families were gathering in the evenings. The breakfast was a typical breakfast you would find at other hotels. Would really like ketchup for eggs though. Literally steps to the waterfront. Bring your fishing gear! Attached to a nice bar next door. Just up the street there is a nice barbershop and independent cafes. Nice little boutique stores and even a surf shop. There was some sort of street festival with live music on the Friday night just up the way. Metro grocery store is just about a 5 min walk, as is a very nice AYCE Sushi restaurant. My only complaint is the parking. The attached parking lot only contains 1 accessible parking space, but 5 for members of the different levels of the Hotels Choice Privaledges club. There are only about 20 spaces total on site and then you have to go to the satellite parking. It is a very short walk, 5 mins on average at most with a slight hill on the way there, but for someone needing an accessible space it would be very difficult. If they added a few more accessible spots than the bare minimum requirement this would be 5 stars all around.

I am not a fan of carpet in the rooms other than that everything was good.

We had an excellent stay. Great location. Great value. Parking is limited though. But will definitely return.

They had a good breakfast included but very little parking we had to park off site a few blocks away. It was free but prefer not to walk there in the dark. We would come back it’s a nice little hotel and staff are nice

We really appreciated Nathaniel the front desk staff upon our arrival. He was helpful, pleasant, informed and courteous.

Spent total of 4 nights (booked for 5 but left a day early) over past week. Never had a chance to try breakfast. It was included in the booking, but nowhere to be seen in the morning. I waited near 30min one day, assured it would be out soon, but I ran out of time waiting. This breakfast is incorporated in the price right? The Friday June 5th front desk girl I checked out with in the evening was absolutely not interested in my complaint. Room is small but understandable considering its age. The front desk guy with glasses (sorry didn’t get a name) was very considerate, with directions, suggestions where to eat, and park. But with its cost and failure to provide breakfast as is advertised was very upsetting. To any folks coming, bring your own food, at least the rooms gave a fridge.
