Great service wonderful gardens and a tranquil oasis

Fabulous small, luxury hotel set in beautiful and extensive gardens and grounds. Good breakfast, dining and bar and two lovely outdoor pools, heated to just the right temperature. Staff are all amazing - nothing too much trouble.

I was deeply impressed by my stay at Quinta da Casa Branca. The elegance of the setting, the quiet refinement, and the genuine warmth of the staff made my time there truly memorable. The entire team works with grace, precision, and heartfelt attention — a rare combination. Their presence is discreet, yet the result is unmistakable: everything flows effortlessly, yet nothing is accidental. I can only recommend this hotel — sincerely, and without reservation.

Kleineres Hotel inmitten eines schönen Parks mit unzähligen Pflanzen und Bäumen. Ausgezeichneter Service, freundliches Personal, kleiner SPA Bereich, 2 beheizte Aussenpool, ideal zum entspannen. Zimmer mit Blick auf den Park (müssten wieder mal renoviert werden)

Excellent service throughout. Nothing too much trouble. Handy location to walk into Funchal. Very quiet and lovely gardens to wander through.

If you want to stay in Funchal and want more than another soleless hotel, this place is a hidden oasis of calm and stunnkng tropical gardens hidden from the outside world. Everything about this hotel is so well done. Not all hotels are the same.

Alltime favorite. Spa could be open longer in the evenings!!

Wonderful stay at an excellent centrally located hotel

This is a gem of a hotel. Fantastic grounds, lovely rooms and facilities - but really made by the excellent staff and customer service. We hope to return soon. Thank you.

Our 2nd stay at this hotel set in peaceful beautiful gardens. The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing. We will return again!

Hat neben sehr Kompetentem und freundlichem Personal eine Wunderschöne gepflegte Gartenanlage, saubere Pools, einen hervorragenden Wellnessbereich mit Fitnessstudio. Zudem ist das essen ein Traum, perfekt abgestimmt in jedem kleinsten Detail. Ich freue mich in Zukunft wieder zu kommen.

I loved the fact that this property was in a very quiet neighborhood, yet a very short and pleasant walk to dining, shopping and sightseeing options downtown. The level of attentiveness and service from the staff is outstanding and breakfast is fantastic. This property exceeded all of my expectations and I would stay here again if I visit the Madeira Islands in the future.

Grounds were lovely. Beds comfortable. Constant hum in room audible.... A/C was off. Small TV on only piece of furniture in the room. We could have used more surface area to spread out. Surprised that small individual toiletries provided rather than larger, easier to use dispensers. Not very environmentally friendly. 1 hand towel was dirty on arrival. We were only staying 2 nights so didn't want room serviced ie less washing etc, so left no service sign on door. This was adhered to. However, on our return after evening meal, housekeeping had been in to do turn down and replenished all towels and empty bins....which we had tried to avoid in the morning. Just seems a waste of energy and resources. I do feel like we were not quite as well looked after/welcomed as others. We were mother/daughter guests.

Prachtig hotel in een fantastische tuin. Vriendelijk personeel, fantastische service, uitgebreid ontbijt, lekker eten,… kortom fantastisch!!!
