This property was beautiful and the food was amazing. The staff were very friendly and there were activities scheduled daily to keep the resort guests engaged and having fun.

An average 3 star hotel even though they like to think they are more. I expected more from a Savoy hotel. Staff was very miserable and acted like they hated working there. The food was mediocre. So was the entertainment. Overpriced for what it offers

Passei o aniversário da minha mulher, adoramos os dois dias que passamos. Os rapazes do bar por do Sol, especialmente os dois mais novinhos e incluindo o chefe, foram atenciosos e bem profissionais. O serviço no restaurante fica um pouco a desejar, nota-se logo o desnível do bar para o restaurante. Contudo, no geral foi bastante bom e tamos a pensar em voltar.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the third single childs bed and they went out of their way to help sort this out for us. Even got a brand new single mattress! The resort entertainers were enthusiastic and always smiling. Would definitely recommend to families as all is made easy for you.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was pretty good (didn't like the themed night buffets, like mexican food served in Portugal). Also the Reservation restaurant is nice, but their menu as inclusive food, and anything outside of that you have to pay (didn't like that we were not notified of this beforehand). Rooms were nice and AC works very well ! Although the beds were super hard ( I weight 248 lbs and could feel the bed springs in my hips and torso side). All in all, i give it 4 out 5 stars !

We arrived late in the evening after our transfer from the airport. The resort had arranged the transfer for us and the driver was waiting at arrivals for the 8 of us in our group. He was great and gave us a bit of a tour on the way to Calheta. Our reception at the resort went well and the woman on duty made sure we got down to the buffet before it closed. She was very friendly and attentive to our needs after a long day of travel. Our rooms were modern and clean and cleaned and tidied well each day by the cleaning staff, The buffet was great with a large selection of food items. Drinks at the bar were served quickly and were good. The "drink of the day" by the pool was excellent on the 2 days we had them. The resort is in a beautiful location, nestled below a cliff. There is a public beach next to the resort which has great sand and water access. Evening entertainment was fairly low key but pleasant as we enjoyed the evening by the pool while listening to a musician or watching the dancers. We had no complaints about the staff at the resort. They were friendly and did their job well. All in all I would recommend staying at this all inclusive Calheta Beach Hotel on the beautiful island of Madeira.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Auffrischung gut gebrauchen. Das Essen leider nur mittelmässig, viel im Oel gekocht und fad. Ohne Liebe gekocht

Fijne all in met optie om ook a la carte te eten. Zeker een aanrader. We kwamen voor onze honeymoon en kregen een gratis upgrade naar de suite en bubbels op de kamer. Heel fijne afsluiter van een prachtige vakantie in Madeira

Worst experience I have had in 25 years of travel across 50+ countries. My room was disgusting, I paid for a suite with an ocean view and was given the equivalent to a motel 6 in a small town with no view, no AC, and the worst access to food I’ve ever seen. I paid $3k for this… it was so bad I left after just 2 days and they refused to refund me even though I bought a room that was NOTHING like what I got. Do not book.

Grosse déception car j’avais payé un supplément pour deux suites « Sea side view » et je me suis retrouvé avec des chambres avec vu sur la route et très bruyantes (malheureusement votre site ne me permet pas d’ajouter des photos pour illustrer ce désastre) . J’ai immédiatement indiqué mon mécontentement mais l’hôtel n’a fait aucun effort. Aucune proposition de rellocation et aucun remboursement du surplus payé pour les deux suites « sea side view ». Ne réservez donc surtout pas de suites « Sea side view » car les photos du site Expedia sont tout simplement trompeuses. En ce qui concerne l’hôtel on remarque très vite qu’il date du siècle dernier et qu’une sérieuse rénovation est nécessaire. Le restaurant est de qualité tout juste correcte. Les plats sont bons mais le café du petit déjeuner est imbuvable. J’ai trouvé un bocal de datte avec des fourmis à l’intérieur. Les yaourts sont dilués avec de l’eau. Le niveau sonore dans le restaurant est très élevé. Pour utiliser le coffre on vous facturera 19eur. Si vous visionnez une vidéo avec le téléviseur c’est 12,5eur ( les films ne sont pas du tout récents). Je ne comprend pas comment des clients peuvent donner la note maximale à cet établissement. Evitez cet établissement. Vous ne pouvez que trouver mieux.

Rundum zufrieden, Essen war hervorragend, immer für jeden was zu finden, Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Zimmer sehr groß, für jedes Kind (11 und 13) ein eigenes Bett, nicht nur ein Schlafsofa für beide. Pool und Meer direkt am Hotel. Alles sehr zu empfehlen. Familie mit 2 Kindern in den Osterferien.

The rooms are only okay. But outside and pool area are really nice, close to the beach an if you don’t like the rush of a buffet the two a la carte restaurants are a really nice alternative!

Unnser Zimmer war schön und groß. Leider hat die Sauberkeit im kompletten Hotel zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Im Speisesaal war es sehr laut und das nicht weil die Gäste laut waren sondern weil beim Geschirrabräumen wenig Achtsamsamkeit auf die Lautstärke genommen wurde. Es könnte den Eindruck erwecken, dass das Personal dazu keine Lust hatte. Alles in allem merkt man, dass das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist.
