Property was interesting an old convent I believe but although they mentioned no elevator to rooms they did not mention that there were over 40 steep steps straight off the street to the reception. Carrying heavy suitcases up was awful. Two of us really hurt ourselves.

Had a choice of booking a Classic or Superior room, the later being advertised as being larger in size with space to relax in. It wasn't until we got there, and questioned the room allocation, that we were told that all rooms, apart from the suites, were the same size. Very disappointed as we paid for a Superior room, but ended up with a room with just about enough room to swing a cat. Would recommend only if you would like a place to return to a sleep only.

Very pleasant stay. An oasis in the middle of the city.

The property is really nice, the rooms were quite large for a European hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Especially the waiter, Mario, took really good care of us during breakfasts. Amazing location as well, very close to public transport and walking distance to some major historic sites.

Small quiet hotel. Old fashioned in a nice way. Kind and helpful staff at the hotel. Clean and well functioning room.

Great overall stay. Edgardo is the best employee. Attentive and extremely courteous. Made the stay that much better.

Aircon didnt work, and to much noise from the road to have the window open bugs in the bathroom

Property was well maintained and in good location. Excellent breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Outdoor patio was beautiful setting.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez York House. Un hôtel avec beaucoup d'histoire et de charme et un accueil au top🙂

Un sejour très agréable. La chambre est tout a fait confortable avec néanmoins la salle de bain aux carreaux noirs un peu endommagée par le calcaire. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. Le personnel très charmant, disponible et pro.

Staff friendly and helpful, beautiful period house. Relaxing patio area, nice selection for breakfast. Initial issue with room was dealt with quickly to our satisfaction.

The entire check in and check out procedure was super easy and fast. The room was clean and comfortable. It was in relatively easy walking distance to food and shopping. Most attractions are outside normal walking distance so you may need to catch an Uber or ride share. We would definitely stay there again.
