We spent 3 days 2 night at DoubleTree by Hilton Sirkeci. The location just perfect if you want to visit Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia Grand Mosque, Hagia Sofia Museum, Grand Bazaar, Basilica, etc. You can get all those locations by walking distance, around 1 km. There's tram station near to the hotel, if you want to go to Tasim or just simply take a taxi. The hotel location quite far from IST airport, around 1 hour by car. Make sure you have enough time to get back to the airport. Reception and bellboy are friendly and helpfull. The mattress comfy with soft linen. But the toiletries is so minimalist. I dont mind with soap,shampoo and lotion refill but there's no toothbrush etc that usually 4 stars provided. In this hotel you can only get sanitary bag, shower cap and bar soap. This hotel provide 3 tea bags of Lipton tea and 3 sachet Nescafe classic incl creamer, sugar and 2 bottle of water. If you like Turkish food, you can add breakfast when you booked the hotel. The choice of breakfast not much, no omelette! But they have many option of cheese to choose, as a cheese lover, I loved it! I ate something that I really like but unfortunately I forgot to ask the name. It's sweet (not too sweet) but they put in meat area, near salami. It's square and soft. You have to try, I think you'll gonna like it. We booked hotel for 3 days without breakfast and decided to tried 1 day breakfast. The price is 2500 lira for 2 person. Hotel provide airport transfer for additional cost €75 (1-4 person). We choose to booked airport transfer nit from Hotel, it cost us €90 round trip (airport to hotel and hotel to airport) with Mercedes-Benz Vito.

Location was great nearby Sultan Ahmet area even difficult to founded, their service is very bad, when I reached the hotel no body help me to pick my luggage and Receptionist is not communicative, staffs cant speak English

one of the best hotel I've ever stayed in. they let us checked in even at 9 a.m (thank god the room that was prepared for us is available and ready).. we really appreciate this early check in situation.

Great location, nearby main attractions

Really great hotel in the heart of Istanbul. Finding the hotel really tricky at the first if you travel from Marmaray Sirkeci Station. But if you take the lift straight from level -9 to level 1 then you will find the hotel just in front of one of the station entrance. The food was good, with the limited selection of food and you can order egg as well. Juice, coffee and tea are provided. check-in and check-out was easy. Hotel is really in the good location, really closed to Eminonu, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque. Grand Bazaar easy to reach within tram, or easy walkway.

Very nice stay! The front desk, Mr Batu Kaya, up graded us to the suite room. The Hotel was very nice, clean and the staff was very friendly.
