Great place to stay, beautiful setting and view. Parking area is not great and checkin is a bit slow but everything else was great.

A beautiful ocean view, friendly helpful staff, great restaurant food, a patio where we could enjoy dinner and bring our dog, Nespresso coffee in the room, comfortable beds…this is a little gem in Parksville. The building is older but clean and comfortable and the location provides spectacular sunrise views. We will definitely stay here again.

The check-in was easy and quick. The room itself was modern and clean. It’s the details that count, however, as the room could have used another night stand and an additional chair besides the “desk chair” We ate dinner at the Bayside Restaurant in the hotel and food was marginal at best but it was the portion sizes that really disappointed. The prices were very high for both the quality and size and represented little value for the money. My spouse was not happy that her dinner chowder soup was soon finished after 9 or 10 spoonful's and for $15 she would have expected more. My stuffed chicken dish was mostly rice and for $35 I would have expected a chicken chest and not a chicken thigh. I would not recommend dining at this restaurant as offsite restaurants would offer more choices and value. I am not one to complain but I was very unhappy with this experience.

OVER WATER VIEWS WERE STUNNING. BEACH ACCESS WAS IFFY, ROCK CLEAR PATH TO SANDY AREA WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

Nice size room and nice room amenities. I choose a balcony room, thinking that it had an ocean view, but it had a roof/parking lot view instead. To change it would cost over $60, because I had booked through Expedia.

Pet friendly

Everything about this place was wonderful!! I would love to stay here again. My only negative is that the rooms on the second floor are for guests with dogs. We don’t have a dog and we’re given a room on the second floor. I am very allergic to dogs & cats & had to take my allergy medication the entire stay.

This resort is more than dog friendly, the dog is treated like a guest too. Very clean and friendly, excellent location.

Warning: from a non-ocean view room, you will look at a roof top, a building wall or a parking lot. If your budget allows, get a ocean view room. The food at the resort restaurant is good but expensive.

wir hatten ein wunderbares Zimmer mit einer großartigen Aussicht. Alle Leute im Hotel waren sehr freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch das Essen war ganz hervorragend, das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.
