Gemeinsam mit Freunden verbrachten wir einige Nächte in der wunderbaren Quinta. Wir lieben das Ambiente, die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das tolle Essen und speziell den traumhaften Garten. Eine Oase an toller Lage für Erholung, aber auch für Ausflüge auf die Insel. Wir kommen gerne wieder - herzlichen Dank für Alles!

Tradtionell und sehr ruhig gelegen, trotzdem innerhalb von 20 min zu Fuß in Funchal - wenn auch steil bergab/ bergauf.

Beautiful property and gardens. Tortoise Colomvos is a special attractions. Female staff v friendly and courteous. Male waiters could be more friendly and cheerful. Overall excellent hotel

This is an excellent hotel, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Madeira. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, everything is extremely clean, the breakfast is delicious with lots of choice. The room was big, tastefully decorated and well equipped with a comfy bed. The hotel is set in a botanic garden that’s a wonderful oasis and so relaxing. There is a great pool and other leisure facilities. There is also a tortoise. What more could you want? Look no further - stay here!

Exceeded expectations on every front. Superb and personalised service from the moment of arrival to departure. Equivalent to the very best one could expect from the Raffles in Singapore, the Mandarin in Hong Kong, and many other gems. Nothing was obtrusive and attention was warm and friendly by everyone. Superb, Bravo!

Beautiful propert and grounds/gardens in particular. True 5 star, staff and service lovely - organised several trips for us. Only thing - and it’s personal opinion - was that the menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner were not always to our taste and there were often better and cheaper options in Funchal. We tended to eat from the breakfast buffet rather than table menu which we enjoyed b much. None of the above should dissuade you from staying there. I would say it’s one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in the world and certainly Europe.

Wonderful hotel. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The food was superb, we were spoilt for choice at breakfast, the dinner we had at the hotel was also delicious. The shuttle bus into Funchal was a great service and when that was not on the staff would call a taxi for you.

We had an excellent stay! When just walking out in the garden you feel like being in an other world. The service is exceptional where they go above and beyond to help you have the best experience possible. Big and clean rooms, lots of facilities and everything at a high quality level. We will be back

The hotel was lovely with amazing service. Particularly the restaurant and front desk staff. The gardens and the pool area are beatiful. Highly recommend!
