Good - The front receptionist (Jany) was lovely and I appreciated her attentiveness to our check in and issues we had while there.
Bad - The property is filthy (beyond the remodel). Our room was clean but the towels were musty, the garbage outside was overfilling, the hall carpet was disgusting, the 2nd floor at the top of the stairs reeked of pot, the windows were filthy.
Breakfast is supposed to be until 9:00am but they had it all tore down at 8:45. If you say it's open till 9, make it so - otherwise, give us the time you'll start putting it away so we can make accommodations! The lady who was cleaning it told us that it was "all broken", nor did she seem to care. Jany was kind enough to get us some pastries and apples. My daughter really wanted waffles but... oh well. (we didn't get waffles on our first morning there either because "they were filling the machine" but never did in the time we were down there which was about 20 min.
We had to reprogram our room keys 3x and we didn't have them near electronics.
We get that remodeling can be a task but when you clearly just give up on everything else during that time, that doesn't bode well for guests. You still need to vacuum the carpets, etc.
