Amazing place very very helpful and super friendly staff

Clean room although quite small, swimming pool was out of use whilst we were there. Ate in the restaurant in the evening meal was very good.

It was a very mixed stay, although overall it was positive. The first room we were given was very dirty. The walls in particular were yellow and marked, including hand prints on the walls and mould on the curtains (pictured attached). The room was very hot and the window didn't open - no air conditioning either. It was quite small and cramped. Premier inn would have been a lot better. Having raised concerns to the receptionist we were given a much cleaner room. The swimming pool and spa were very clean, the gym is good with good equipment. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant and well priced. Some staff were wonderful. Others were not so. We had a drink with our friends in the bar on our first night staying there and the service received was awful. I asked first for a decaf tea and was told no by the person serving me, but the two behind her said we can do that. I then asked for 2 glasses for a bottle of wine I had purchased earlier from them - I was again told no from my server, but then others said yes if I didn't mind red wine glasses (I didn't mind). I then asked for 2 Pepsis - 2 were put on the bill but I was only given 1. When I asked for my second Pepsi the server poured it and added another to the bill, to which I had to correct her. The second Pepsi she poured was in a smaller glass but charged the same amount. I asked for a tray to carry everything, when I got to my table I realised there was so milk for the tea and the mug was dirty. Very unpleasant.

Good stay for the second time. lovely room and impressive fan due to the warmth of the evening. lady on reception very helpful as we arrived late from an event we went to. would look to visit again

Everything you need in a family room. We found this very comfortable size wise but very warm. There is a fan supplied but it is quite warm.

Room was clean , staff very welcoming and pool and spa were spot on , didn’t have breakfast or use the bar , great hotel

The corridors were a bit tired. People dragging their cases along damaged the wallpaper and it needs replacing. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the staff were really nice and helpful. Very handy location for getting to Southampton to join a cruise.

Stayed quite a few times here. The bed on this occasion was not in a good state. Both bases on the double bed were sagging in the middle so it was not good occasion

Excellent Hotel and very competitively priced

Just Okay - nothing special - sour milk in the room spoiled the coffee

Breakfast - fried eggs very overcooked - bacon cold and dry. Fresh fruit and yoghurt - very good.

we had to change rooms 3 times due to A very strong smaellnof cigarettes, then an insect infestation and then the 3rd room was not very clean and needed a lot of maintenance. The main house, spa and breakfast were great. Some Room maintenance and furniture renewal would make this a fabulous stay.

Don't let the pictures fool you. The swimming pool looks like a big bath tub. The room I had was on the second floor. The carpet in the hallway needs repacling. What really turns me off is the location of the extra toilet rool. It's located at the foot near the toilet bowl. It looks dirty. I have to ask for fresh rolls instead. Anyways, it's not worth the price. But after all, we are in the UK where everything is expensive.

Lovely clean room a little bit of diy could do with doing in room hotel was lovely butifull breakfast run out of some starters to have could do with a bigger bar for one only seving

Very disappointed with the room, shower didn't work and we asked about room service , reception didn't know if they were doing it due to a large wedding, the reason I booked the hotel was for this.

It was fine for a night... but very hot in the room during the heatwave. Fan in the cupboard gave some relief. Only one set of towels for a double, not enough for two people wich unfortunately we didn't realise until the morning. It fitted standard room description well, it was fine for short stay and staff are friendly.

Booked a superior room but they put us in a room beside a family of 5 with 3 noisy children. We had to move and ended up in a vacant room that shouldn’t really be in service.

Beautiful house which has the bar and restaurant. Most of the rooms are away from the house, and there was a lot of noise from the road in the morning. The rooms are a bit tired. The restaurant is in a lovely room and the food was ok. The swimming pool is good.

Beautiful setting, but unfortunately our first floor bedroom in one of the chalet/lodges was a let down. It was all very tired and basic. The bed was tiny, it’s the smallest double I’ve ever slept in! We didn’t eat there as another couple recommended the pub down the road, where we had a lovely dinner.

Stayed for a wedding which was fantastic all around. The grounds are incredibly scenic and the house is lovely. Had EV charging which was handy to leave with a full charge. Room was clean and tidy and everything we needed. Breakfast was really good, great selection and well cooked. Would stay again
