Staff are very helpful and the services are good. Room is clean and spacious enough.

Nice rooms with comfortable beds and a good shower. Beautiful rooftop pool and lounge area. Attached to the Maria Zambrano train station so very convenient if you're coming into town on the train and they also have rental car companies there also.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. Man geht vom Hotel aus direkt zum Bahnhof und hat gute Bahn- und Busverbindungen. Zusätzlich ist man dadurch direkt in einem großen Einkaufszentrum. Perfekt! Das Personal und die Zimmer sind top. Was noch schön wäre, ein großer Spiegel im Zimmer. Wir waren zu zweit und da wäre ein zweiter Spiegel praktischer gewesen. Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen 👍

Had a great 4-night stay at the Barceló Malaga. Very quiet. Great location. Comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. Pool and rooftop bar also very good.

Only stayed one night. The room felt a bit dark and facilities a bit worn out. I have stayed in Barcelo before in Istanbul which was a great experience.

Ideally located on the metro line, 3 stops from the airport, was the main reason we chose this hotel for our city break. Enjoyed the breakfast selection and general relaxed vibe around the place and on the final day the wife couldn’t resist the temptation of using the slide down to reception! Will definitely use again as our base to explore further afield in the future.

Good selection, staff friendly, good food

Room was clean and tidy, comfy bed. Where our room was situated there was quite a bit of noise as it was right next to the terrace/pool area. The pool is not as big as it looks on the photos and the breakfast was a little disappointing in terms of quality of the cooked section. The staff were lovely and friendly and we enjoyed our stay despite the above noted issues.

Good thing I didn't write this after day one! Weird incident. But the reason it's forgotten is because the staff handled it professionally. This property could use some TLC (eg worn carpets, and those bizarre and annoying 'string curtains' in the closests and bathroom need to go. 😅 And don't eat in the restaurant unless you're desperate. (Let's be honest: if you're eating at the hotel restaurant with such good dining options near by, you probably ARE desperate. 😅) But that is minor stuff. Great staff, wonderful location. Stay here. I will again!

I booked a higher category room. They gsve me a lower category. I confronted the refeption and was told it is all the same.. which is like… no comment.. at the end they gave me the room i booked and when i asked for water they gave me conplimentary minibar. This is sad for a caliber of this hotel.. on the side nites: need. Taxi to go to center.. gym staff doesn’t acknowledge you and they have the worst televisions in thw rooms, totally unacceptable in this day and age
