Probably great back in the day. We found it quite dated and sad. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Room was small. Bathroom tiny. Toilet paper sat on small counter (no holder!). Definitely not worth the price paid.

amazing location and property. Our room was lovely but we did not have use of the shower for the three days we were there. We kept getting excuses that someone would come to look at it, then the plumber said it was fine ( it wasn't) then we were told that the shower needed to be completely redone and would be after our stay. We were compensated with 2 free lattes. I feel they should have done better than that. it is a small inn and full so they couldn't move us but 2 free lattes is poor compensation for having no working shower. We did have a tub, but not the same, and not what we paid for.

It is a beautiful property in a great location. It does seem a little understaffed.

Nous avons séjourné trois nuits dans cet hôtel et avons été malheureusement déçus du rapport qualité-prix. À plus de 700 francs la nuit, nous nous attendions à un niveau de confort nettement supérieur. La chambre était très petite et la salle de bain mal pensée : aucun support pour le papier toilette, simplement posé sur un meuble… ce qui n’est vraiment pas à la hauteur d’un établissement 4 étoiles. Cela dit, nous tenons à souligner la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel, ainsi que la qualité du petit-déjeuner, varié et complet. Nous avons dîné une fois au restaurant de l’hôtel : repas décevant et service peu agréable ce soir-là. Les environs sont jolis, surtout par beau temps, et offrent un cadre reposant. Mais globalement, l’expérience ne justifie pas le prix demandé.

Absolutely beautiful inn with shockingly gorgeous sunsets! Restaurant was excellent. Staff was awesome. It was a treat to stay here and made our trip extra special.

Disappointed to find our “non-king” bed we reserved and paid for was in fact a queen bed. Pricey hotel and very small room and bathroom.

Very cute hotel in the highlands, located on the loch. Loved our room and the small veranda overlooking the lake. The food was very good and more of a fine dining experience which suits me. If you are more of a fish and chip kind of person Portree is very close and offer plenty of places to get excellent fish and chips.

Property is beautiful on the lake. They have an outdoor terrace to enjoy some cocktails before dinner. Breakfast was amazing. We also had dinner there and it was delicious

This hotel is not as advertised. It is “photo magic”, because it actually is very poorly maintained. The carpet is pulling up in areas, and the floors are wonky. There was only instant coffee for the room, and there were absolutely no special touches, such as chocolate cookies in the room. The breakfast was OK, but the hallway smelled of fish.

We enjoyed a comfortable 3 night stay at this hotel and the staff were extremely attentive to my dietary requirements

Beautiful building with friendly staff and great dining onsite.

Room was huge and gorgeous. Staff was great! Dinner was a little disappointing based on the price but not terrible. All in all a very nice place.

Such a lovely hotel situated on the river with an amazing view. Very helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay here in the future
