I was surprised at how welcoming the staff were at the hotel. Every spot seemed perfect for resting or taking a break. It felt like home. I liked the atmosphere here. We felt relaxed and welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff took really good care of everything. It was a refreshing escape.

Staff and food good but Room 102 to be avoided at all cost, all the extraction and AC fans and machinery for the kitchen and bar are on the flat roof directly outside the one opening window and with the room ac control showing a fault code the room was both too hot and too noisy.

The bathroom was disappointing, with long clumps of hair stuck to the walls. Something no cleaner should miss, especially in a 4‑star property.Breakfast was also poorly managed. The doors opened nearly ten minutes late, with staff looking out at us waiting and showing no awareness or urgency.

Nice hotel, Emma at the front desk was very helpful. Would be nice if they changed the breakfast buffet a little from day to day.

Really enjoyed our stay in Athlone Springs in what turned out to be different circumstances that what we were supposed to be in town for. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to look after our needs. The pool was a great service and one our little man really enjoyed. If we are back in that part of the country we would not hesitate in staying there.

a lot of kids running about the corridor which created a bit of noise. Other than that our stay was perfect.

For a family room it was small and the camp bed was rock hard and unsuitable. Check in at 4pm is crazy. Room felt. But dated.

Stayed for one night. Thought the staff were friendly, food was decent and in a convenient location to motorway. The only negative was the bed was a bit too hard for my liking
