We stayed at the hotel while attending a softball tournament at a nearby park. I can't think of another reason to stay here. The hotel is right on the Trans Canada highway, and theoretically might be convenient if driving through. There are some amenities nearby (grocery store, some chain restaurants), but not a lot. Generally, the area isn't nice. We walked around a little bit, but the reality is if you want food that's interesting, you're going to be driving for 5 mins or more. This hotel is not close to the downtown core - that's about 15 to 20 mins drive. It is close to the hospital and university area - about 5 mins by car. There are lots of amenities up there. The room was recently updated, but was still not the cleanest I've seen with some buildup of rust and mildew in the bathroom and stained sheets on the bed and towels in the bathroom. The staff was quite nice. Breakfast in the morning was a small step above the usual continental, with hard boiled eggs and a waffle maker. The breakfast room was slightly small, so if the hotel is busy I could see not getting a place to sit. Parking was included, but not plentiful. If the hotel is busy, you might have a problem getting a spot. The lot is open, and at road level too. A bit sketch. I honestly wouldn't return. Even if I was attending an event at the park again. I still drove to the park, which means I'd be better just to stay at a nicer hotel elsewhere.

L’hôtel est assez vieux. Pour le déjeuner, nous ne sommes pas difficiles, et ça a été très difficile de se trouver quelque chose à manger que nous apprécions.

It’s was a good experienced when we stay but it need some improvement on the service of the staff and cleanliness of the place.

Great for people who want basic hotel accommodation at much more reasonable prices than competitors.

Not much of a breakfast…. Even the coffee was watered down.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, ample parking and love that they have a washer and dryer. Me and my pups enjoyed our stay!

Convenient to the airport

Parking easy to access. Breakfast as expected. It’s a dog friendly place and I love seeing the dogs.

Rooms are clean. Noisy. The walls are paper thin. Location to river paths were great. Pet friendly which was nice, however some disrespectful dog owners who let their dogs yap ALLLLLL the time. Cleaners do an amazing job at cleaning everything. HOWEVER, starting to clean the rooms at 7am is just NOT OK. Especially when cannot check in til 4. Breakfast was ok, but the room was soooo small and badly laid out. Would be better to provide trays so can eat in the room

Foul smell in hallways and the dirtiest carpets I have ever seen throughout the property. Room was satisfactorily clean. Person doing drugs in the parking lot the whole evening of our stay. Needs serious renovations!

Expensive for what it is, but I understand it's peak season. Rooms were small, could hardly squeeze in on the one side of the bed. At check-in, there was noone at the desk for sometime while 5 customers had to wait in line. The receptionist didn't come out until another staff member called her.
