Staffs are friendly and energetic, feel welcome staying here. Beer was nice and breakfast as well.

Noisy all night when car passing around. Poor sevice towards left luggages even for staying there.

Good location just opsit of train station and bus station But the room conditions are bad. People there is really friendly.

Fairly decent hotel for the price paid. Carpets need cleaning in places and the windows only open a couple of inches so not good in hot weather. Convenient as very close to the train station and not too far from the Scillonian ferry. Room 19 had a poor quality shower and we couldn’t get a table for an evening meal (we arrived before 8 pm) - the man at reception wasn’t very courteous - didn’t even say sorry we are fully booked. The curry house next door was excellent. There’s no lift so carrying heavy suitcases is difficult for older people. Some of the staff were very friendly but we probably won’t stay there again.

Zimmer waren zweckmäßig, gutes Frühstück. Freundliches Personal. Gute Erreichbarkeit von Bus und Bahn, da nahe zum Bahnhof liegend. Tischreservierung zum Abendessen möglich. Essen kommen zeitnah.

We stayed for one night after travelling to Penzance from Norwich ready to catch the Scillonian boat to the Scilly Isles. We arrived at the end of the current heat wave so our twin room (Room #1) which overlooked the street was boiling hot and the window could only be opened a couple of inches for safety reasons. Otherwise it was fine, although the shower room was rather cramped. The staff were friendly and helpful, even bothering to ring us to tell us they had found my husband's cap which he'd left in our room by mistake, and the breakfast (buffet style) was very good. The hotel is very close to the train station and only a short walk to the ferry terminal, so this is a good place to stay if travelling by rail. It is also near a public car park so a very convenient place to stay and not too expensive.

Spacious and clean room, the staff was lovely. The breakfast is very good and the inn is in a good place to visit the area (bus station and train station in front of the inn). Parking is easy too.

Breakfast and dinner was plentiful. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here

The Longboat Inn is very close to Penzance Station and not too far from the harbour, so very well situated. The room was clean and very comfortable, and the shower worked well. My room overlooked the main road, and was subject to some traffic noise (mainly from one idiot with an excessively loud motorbike who seemed to be riding up and down the road), but I had a very good night's sleep. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient, especially in the breakfast room. The breakfast menu was varied, and the food was tasty and very well-cooked.

If we happen to go to Penzance again, we won't mind staying in this hotel again.

Room was basic and a little out dated, but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and evening meal were both good and service was with a smile. Check-in was a terrible experience! I presented myself at reception where a guy was standing, he looked at me , ignored me and made out he was looking at a sheet of paper! Another member of staff was aware of the situation and eventually he stepped in and offered some assistance. This approach on arrival is never a good start, so my stay was marred. If I hadn’t of paid I would have walked out! First impressions are important.

One night stay for a flying visit. Rooms are quite tired but perfectly functional. Bar was really nice and they were showing the football. Really nice atmosphere in there, lots of holiday makers and food looked good. Breakfast was awesome. Didn't need to eat the rest of the day! A two minute walk to the station.
