Parking easy, reception area not great but checked in ok and shown to room. Room is fine but tired and kitchen too dark and poor quality fittings. Shower not high pressure but ok. A good freshly cooked full English breakfast, and friendly owners.

Room spacious and clean. Staff all brilliant and very attentive. Lovely fresh breakfast - scrambled egg and smoked salmon was superb. Lots of off road parking.

An interesting quirky hotel. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. A nice place for a weekend break.

A lovely old property , steeped in history. Very unique! Wonderful friendly welcome , made to feel very special On arrival. Breakfast was lovely . Very easy parking . The bed was super comfy ! Highly recommended.

Jenny was a wonderful host. Hot individual selected breakfast items freshly cooked. Delicious and lots of choices. I loved the eggs with smoked salmon. Room was lovely. Historic old Benedictine abbey modernized. Lanivet Inn walkable and recommend it for dinner. Would stay at Abbey again if visiting Cornwall.

Very warm welcome and informative check-in. We were staying here at the end of our first day walking the Saints Way from Padstow to Fowey, so we were in need of comfortable accommodation and a good breakfast and St Benets Abbey provided both. Very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, excellent cleanliness. Would thoroughly recommend to others.

We agreed with some of the other reviews, that it a bit quirky in parts. Bits are a bit old fashioned, but everything is very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Only real negative was that things that would be easy and cheap to fix were not done, things like squeaking doors and replacing blackened silicone sealant around the bath. There is a pub about 10 minutes walk away serving good beer and food. Never used it, but I believe the chippy across from the pub is also OK. Generally happy and would stay again.

What a little gem we found, suited our travelling plans, was central to places we planned on visiting. This place is so picturesque set at the bottom on a hill, majestic trees all the way up the hill, with a stream running around the front. We were warmly greeted by a wonderful lady, Jenny. The room was spacious and very well looked after. We will definitely be booking here again, and thank you for making us feel welcomed🤗

Bed: great quality, excellent sleep. Breakfast: good quality, well cooked. Interesting place. Not instagramable but putting aside the dated asthmatics it delivered what we needed.

This is a beautiful property with a lot of history. Jenny the host is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a decent pub down the road for food and drink which only a 5 min walk. Jenny also arranged a great breakfast for my dietary requirements (vegan and gluten free). Would definitely stay here again.
