A lovely warm welcome and excellent service throughout. My room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was relaxing and the food and drink very good. Parking was no problem. I really enjoyed the complementary breakfast - the porridge was fantastic!

Room was clean as was the bathroom and for the price perfectly acceptable, food downstairs was excellent quality and very reasonably priced, staff were very pleasant, if available I would book again thanks

This is a family run business which seems to run very smoothly. The welcome and the attention to looking after their visitors is second to none. The food is lovely and the choice of drinks in the bar was more than sufficient for our needs. When you consider the price it is really great value for money. Thank you very much and if I was in the area again I’d have no hesitation in revisiting.

Breakfast was nice

Parking was easy. IThe room was comfortable and warm. The staff friendly and helpful. I ate in the evening and enjoyed my meal. With a good choice on the menu. Breakfast was excellent.

A classic stay at a vintage Inn - room was clean and food was excellent. I was very well looked after.

Food is great but not a very comfortable bed

The staff and owners were absolutely awesome, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The service, location, breakfast, and dinner were all great. However, the stay wasn’t as comfortable as it could have been due to the bathroom’s cleanliness. It seems like it may need renovation, as it felt too untidy to comfortably take a bath. With improvements to the bathroom, this place has the potential to offer an excellent overall experience.

Stayed at the Wentworth a few times now. The stag are always friendly and we always enjoy our stay, particularly enjoy the cooked breakfast.

Lovely place, lovely staff!

The Staff are wonderful, very friendly and welcoming 😊 ..........The property is full of character and old world charm with quirky uneven floors and walls, clean and comfortable rooms. The food was fabulous. Would definitely comeback to stay or if passing by call in for a bite to eat. The only thing that I would ask for is a room off the main road if possible as it gets quite noisy early in the morning.
