Everything was fine until someone enters our room at 8 am without even a knock and woke us up, which is startling for 2 women travelling alone. We put the « do not disturb » sign outside the door but still a staff assumed the room was empty. At the front desk, a quick « sorry, the person made a mistake » didn’t feel quite enough

Das Hotel Le Roosevelt liegt etwas ausserhalb vom Stadtkern und zu Fuss braucht man schon 20 Minuten. In der Umgebung hat es aber viele Restaurants und Geschäfte. Vorteil: Ladestation für E-Autos.

Excellent hôtel, facile d'accès (15 mn à pied de la gare Part Dieu), dans une rue calme, mais près de tous les commerces/restos du cours Roosevelt (et du Métro Foch). Excellent accueil. J'avais une chambre simple, très bien pour une personne. La salle de bain est exiguë, ce qui peut poser un problème à certaines personnes (entrée de la douche, environ 50 cm de largeur). Je n'ai pas testé le petit-déjeuner.

Probably one of the better hotels in our Euro trip (and the first one we stayed in). Decent room with all necessary amenities. Overall happy with th location and the hotel itself.

A really lovely stay. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the staff we met were super friendly and welcoming. They all spoke very good English which was helpful as our French is a little rusty! The hotel downstairs is nicely decorated and in good condition. They had cold and sparkling water taps to refill bottles or grab a drink when you entered. The hotel offered parking ( although it is a small underground car park) at €18 euros which we were happy to pay as parking else where is expensive and their car park is secure. The room itself was nicely decorated and modern. The room size was adequate for our needs and they added another bed for our daughter ( 9years old) which was plenty big enough. Once in the room, the AC worked brilliantly and we were unable to hear noise from outside or other rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to try!

Très bon accueil par le personnel ! Chambre de qualité et petit-déjeuner succulent ! Seule fausse note, pas de Wifi durant le week-end (en panne)

Wir haben uns im Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt. Für Frankreich war die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet sehr reichhaltig. Unser Zimmer war ruhig, sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Hotel liegt in einem sehr netten Viertel. Viele Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe, Metro-Station ein paar Minuten entfernt und das Stadtzentrum fußläufig erreichbar.

O hotel esta num excelente local, porem, se forem no verão, se preparem, o ar condicionado nao funciona como deveria, passei mal, me deu panico com aquele ar quente, elevador minusculo e antigo. Quarto e banheiro limpos e pequenos, STAFF bacana, mas pra quem quer conforto, esqueça. Passar calor num hotel esta fora de cogitação. Em casa temos ventilador etc, mas num local estranho nao podemos fazer nada. Abrimos a janela (ainda bem que abria), e so consegui dormir qdo o clima externo diminuiu na madrugada. O Cafe da manha esta abaixo da media, mas pra nós é imprescindivel o ar condicionado. Isso que nos faz descansar e sentirmos conforto. O Hotel precisa dar opões pro cliente. Quartos com ventilador de teto ou parede, enfim, se o problema é sustentabilidade, inovem, ousem, mas procurem melhorar.

Wonderful stay overall! Friendly staff and great location. However, the A/C didn’t work that strongly and no bathroom ventilation fan made the room quite warm most of the time.

The hotel lists air conditioning as an amenity but quite simply the building's system does not cool the rooms, and the staff is aware of as much. This was quite disappointing since I specifically came here due to my own broken AC. In addition, there was no fridge in the room. Overall it's a place they slapped on new paint on and are a bit cheeky trying to call 4 stars. The receptionist was friendly

Fantastic hotel!

No cooling of hotel room due to weak AC during a heat wave was unfortunate. Tried to change rooms but staff said all rooms were warm and they offered a fan. I spoke to another guest and he said his room was cool.

Hotel bien situé avec métro accessible assez facilement. Sécuritaire et tranquille. Excellents restos à proximité. Seul bémol: nous étions présents en période de canicule. L'air climatisé est à peine digne de ce nom. Ne pas l'avoir eu aurait été l'enfer toutefois (36C à l'extérieur pendant plusieurs jours).

Booked last minute, nice hotel, smaller rooms but very modern and AC, parking is very reasonable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Can walk to everything.
