Horrible stay. Walls of the room were thin, you could hear everything from the reception and corridor. The staff talked to guests loudly in midnight. My husband could not fall asleep the whole night. And when I checked in, staff said no booking record found. Finally he took about 15 minutes to shettle it. It was the worst hotel I have stayed in my whole life. Definitely not recommended.

book了2晚酒店, front desk人話我book2間單人房, 我說book了一間2張床的房, front desk人話我book錯, 我肯定無book2間單人房, 因是用酒店網站book, 我無改default setting(一間房2人入住)。由於當晚當地有大event, 全市無房, 經過一輪爭辨後, 只好第1晚分開各自睡一間單人房一晚, 但要求明日轉返一間2張床的房。但front desk人話, 如想明日轉返一間2張床的房, 要我們第1晚即時先放棄1間單人房，我問有無得退返1間單人房的錢，front desk人話無得退之餘, 加一句, 即使我們第1晚即時先放棄1間單人房, 也不保證明日轉返一間2張床的房。咩話!!!!!!!! 算了, 鬼叫當晚當地有大event, 全市無房。

Near subway, quiet and comfort, wi-fi ok, however, the entrance is a bit difficult to find.

Manque d'insonorisation, on entends les gens parler dans les chambres à côté... Pas hurler... Parler... Peu de prestation, ménage pas automatique mais sur demande (heureusement qu'ils m'ont prévenu, pas parfait, odeur horrible dans la chambre, premier jour tabac (alors que c'est non fumeur), canalisation ensuite, reflux des toilettes. Situation géographique parfaite. Pour le reste je n'y retournerai pas.

Las recepcionistas son muy majas. El hostal está muy céntrico pero las habitaciones, ventanas y cortinas necesitan una reforma. Mi cortina estaba rota… la limpieza es bastante básica.

Lovely place right in the heart of the city.

Si buscas un lugar cercano a Sol está ok. A mejorar el ruido. Las personas tiran la puerta principal del hostal irrumpiendo el sueño a altas horas de la noche y el piso superior super escandalosas las pisadas las sentía en mi cabeza hasta pasada la media noche, resumen no logramos dormir en paz.

The soundproofing in the room was quite poor, but it wasn't too disturbing for us anyway. The location was excellent. Special thanks to the really nice staff, great customer service!

The hotel was on the second floor and situated in an older Spanish building. (A lift was available). The staff and I got by with my very little Spanish. There was a map on the wall and a tear off copy which was very handy. It is close to Anton Martin tube station which with a little planning can get you all round Madrid. There are a lot of restaurant/cafes and the hotel is close to a square with more. I found a supermarket quite close.

Très bon séjour, je recommande. Très bonne situation pour explorer la ville à pied et venir de la gare Atocha même tard, et pour dîner, petit déjeuner. Prix raisonnable et chambre, immeuble, réception très propres. Bon accueil. Bon confort, seul bémol : on entend le bruit de la rue (je n’ai pas pensé à demander une chambre sur cour) et les autres clients hélas pas très discrets.

Didn’t get the room I paid for when I arrived. Night staff was apologetic and did what he could to get my room the next day. The next morning was different. Lady at the counter talked to me like I was inconveniencing them. Very rude and condescending. Said “this is a hostal” but the the website clearly stated with photos king bed with balcony. I got a double bed with a lovely view of the back of the building and no balcony. I wasn’t even asking for anything extra. She was upset we had to make the change. The hostal itself is just alright. Old and in need of renovation. If I really wanted to make a fuss, I should ask for compensation since there is a difference in price for the two rooms.
