Great location, near a lot of Rome's attractions. Lots of good restaurants close by. Excellent breakfast; one of the best of our three week Italy trip. Very small room, but functional.

Excellent hotel in a great position for all of Rome attractions, staff very helpful and friendly. Very comfortable room but a bit small. Roof terrace/bar was an added bonus. Only problem was a noisy room clean above us at 7.45am on a Sunday morning.

Hotel Smeraldo is a hidden gem in a perfect Location to all the major sites. Restaurants we’re just steps away from hotel. All the staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to assist you. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Rome to stay there. Another huge plus is the rooftop bar and restaurant. Very quaint and inviting.

Great service especially Leonardo who went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. He’s very personable and professional. Breakfast was great, staff is friendly, and felt safe. Room was smaller than we thought so would go back but book a bigger room.

Wonderful property and location. Front desk staff was AMAZING! Fantastic breakfast. Love that is has an elevator and rooftop lounge. Roof was very comfortable, but would not chose the smaller room again. Would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel was hands-down fabulous! I was traveling solo and was accommodated and treated with such care by the staff The hotel is also beautiful, immaculate, and accommodated all of my needs It’s also located in a beautiful area, walking for shopping, dinners, cocktails, and just strolling down the streets I can’t say enough about this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful.

Nice location, quiet, pretty side street. The bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on though.

The staff were all so helpful, the breakfast was very nice, rooms were clean and having the rooftop bar was a fun evening treat.

The staff was amazing. So attentive and helpful. The room was clean. The only item that could be improved is that some parts of the hotel need some tender loving care. Overall. we were very pleased with our stay and the staff made it so we could learn more about Rome.

Really nice hotel, very well located in the center near cafes and Restaurants. The room was a bit small but other than that really good.

We loved everything about Hotel Smeraldo (means Emerald!)… the breakfast was amazing, location was perfect for us, the room was clean and just the right size! Bonus was the roof top restaurant and the best pizza place in the city right across the street! Definitely would recommend and stay here again!

The hotel is located in a great location! Tons of shops and restaurants. Staff was helpful and kind. The only downside was how small the room was but I think for the area it was worth being squished for the 2 nights we were there. If you have a lot of luggage or need space maybe look elsewhere. The hotel is a little older but well kept. The rooftop is cute and has a full bar with snacks.

Room was well located…but very chaotic lobby. There were always a ton of people in front of the doors. My room was small, but delightful. Very clean, and fabulous balcony with gorgeous views and jasmine growing and scenting the air. I brought dinner back from the viral roscoli restaurant (straight across, which is why chaotic) and enjoyed on balcony with wine from grocery around the corner. Staff was very courteous and breakfast was really good…they have a coffee bar that a barista makes your request. I really liked the location, I walked everywhere, so can’t comment on proximity to public transportation. Took taxi from termini train, and it was 12 euros.
