The location of Alexis Hotel is not easy accessible with public transport. Luckily we had rented a car and could reach there with the help of the local residents. Except the good seaview and breakfast, the hotel has to improve its tidiness and cleanliness in order to attract second visit from tourists.

Skuffende hotel sammenlignet med billeder og virkelighed. Hotellets poolomtåde og deres"spa" er ikke værd at besøge. Ingen rigtig sti/vej ned til en meget stenet strand. Morgenmadsbuffet - skal på ingen måde have ros. Ingen servise fremme, meget lidt plads ved maden samt et meget skrap morgen personle. Aften personale skal så dog roses til skyerne. Fantastisk service, smilende og hjælpsomme. Samt ejeren Normanden, Fantastisk søde og hjælpsom. Men hotellet har plads til forbedringer, wc dør kunne ikke lukkes eller låses, gammelt lille køleskab larmede meget, manglede en el-kedel på værelset.

Bon hôtel familial . Il est un peu vieillot et mal isolé . Si vous recherchez un hôtel simple et au calme pas loin du centre ville c est une très bonne option . Gros plus pour la vue sur la mer qui est magnifique . Petit déjeuner un peu récurent mais la personne du petit déjeuner est très gentille et vous fait des pancakes à la demande . Point négatif la mer est difficilement accessible à pied il faut une voiture

Nous avons passé 5 nuits à l'hotel Alexis en demi pension. Tout était parfait. La chambre avait un balcon avec une magnifique vue sur la mer. Le petit déjeuner etait copieux et très varié. Le repas du soir, servi au restaurant de l'hôtel, etait un veritable régal. Tous les plats étaient delicieux, sans parler des excellents cocktails. Le personnel est vraiment adorable.

We arrived at the Alexis hotel after 2 am for our reservation for jukyb22nd 2024. I had called ahead to the property informing them that we had a late boat crossing and it would take us until after 1am for sure to get there and the lady I spoke to verified the reservation and said it was no problem for us to arrive late as the room was ALREADY PAID FOR thru Expedia. The boat was delayed arriving and it ended up being after 2am before we arrived. When we got there, there was no reception, we had to call a local phone number for someone to come and give us our keys…I though ok no biggie but when she arrived she proceeded to tell us very angrily that they did NOT have a reservation for us that was booked. I showed her my confirmation number through Expedia and then she proceeded to tell me that “we don’t deal with EXPEDIA and that there was no room available for the night” We were tired, and left with nowhere to stay so we had to sleep in our car which was neither SAFE nor COMFORTABLE. Upon talking to a few locals there and a few friends from home we heard horror story after horror story of them giving away peoples rooms that were paid for leaving customers in out situation. Upon requesting a refund from them the lady at the desk told us a flat out NO. I would SERIOUSLY RECONSIDER HAVING THEIR LISTING UNDER TOUR BANNER NAME. I use Expedia often without issue but this time I am out money and sleep 😡 Any help from you would be greatly appreciated Jason Pelley

I liked being close to the center of Chania but not in the hustle and bustle. Loved the balcony overlooking the Aegean!

Hôtel bien situé, nous avons eu une chambre vue sur mer : excellent ! Très propre, personnel super accueillant. Restaurant : excellent avec des plats typiques Grec. Tout était parfait !

Quiet, little hotel located just outside Chania. Easy acces to downtown with a bus every 20 minutes. Busstop only 300 m from the hotel. Pool is small but the beach is only couple of hundred meters from the hotel. Rooms are very basic, but with everything you need, incl. a balcony. Kept clean and tidy by the friendly cleaning Ladies. At the reception a norwegian guy, Frode, will help you with everything you want to know: where to go and how to get there. If he doesn’t know it, it’s not worth knowing! Solid breakfast with something to choose for everyone. From the breakfast room there is a wonderful view to the sea. Theodosi restaurant at the hotel serves very tasty meals to affordable price and service is fantastic like everywhere else at the hotel. All in all Alexis hotel can be warmly recommended: it could easily have 3 stars, the staff is worth 5 stars!

Mycket bra service och trevlig personal. Vi stannade 2 dagar och personalen var trevlig direkt och kände igen oss. Mycket bra restaurang också med bra service och god mat.

Friendly staff, hotel has pool, great onsite restaurant, and rooms have a nice side view of the mountains and sea. Unfortunately the beds were hard as a rock. Waking up in pain every day puts a damper on the experience. The breakfast has loads of options and the dinner restaurant is fantastic. There is only 1 vegan option, so I wouldn’t recommend the half board to vegans, maybe vegetarians, and definitely to omnivores.

Nous tenons à remercier toute l’équipe qui ont contribué à la qualité de notre séjour à l’hôtel et au restaurant. Ayant déjà séjourné à l’Alexis il y a 3 ans, nous avons apprécié les travaux d’améliorations des chambres notamment au niveau de la salle de bain. N’oubliez pas de prendre vos dîners au restaurant de l’hôtel : vous y trouverez une grande variété de plats, la quantité et surtout d’une grande qualité. Enfin, en cette période de Covid-19, nous tenons à préciser la mise en place efficace de mesures de prévention.

The hotel is in a great position and parking is easy. Theo is a fantastic host and the staff are like family

Le personnel est juste formidable , accueillant , et d'une gentillesse fabuleuse. L'hôtel est tres bien , les alentours sont magnifiques et le restaurant est merveilleux

Not a huge place so you could get to know the staff, if that's your thing. Views from every room. Excellent restaurant,
