Room is clean and well equipped for tourists to have a pleasant stay there. Staffs are very nice and helpful. The town was quiet and beautiful. We also enjoyed some time in the Opera House. Will be back next time.

This is our second time to stay in this hotel for vacation. Highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good place to stay in Orillia. You can feel like a home once you step in this hotel. Good services with a reasonable price. Thanks again for the great efforts of the staffs in Stone Gate Inn. Thanks for giving us a wonderful March Break.

its a fantastic location for family gathering. The inn isn't very big but it is absolutely a great place for us with good breakfast and helpful staff.it is doubtless to stay in again.

I booked this hotel room because it advertised a hot tub and a pool. Upon check in I was informed that because of Reno’s there was no hot tub. Since there were no refunds allowed I sucked it up and stayed anyway. I was put on the fourth floor and to my dismay there were renovations going on on that floor. Day two the drywall dust was so bad it was hazy in the hallway. The fire alarm was triggered and I only assume because of the hazy conditions. I went there two relax for two days away from my hectic life and all I heard was noise and pounding around most of the day. Honestly was a complete waste of time and money and if I could have gotten a refund I would have cancelled the room then and there

Great value for the money. Room was spacious. Breakfast was good. Didn’t go in the tiny pool, some kids did, and seemed like they were having fun.

The room was a bit dated, washroom ceiling had a missing vent and player on the roof. Other than that, it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. This is my second time here. The first time I had a great room. I guess it all boils down to the room you get. It a nice cozy place, I do love it.

staff has been very good since coming home have not received $100.00 back that was paid at time of check-in July 13th have been calling the hotel to try to get some in-put as can not get in touch with Expedia ! Went into my bank they are uncertain about why it has not gone back into my account ! I have stayed many times at Stonegate and always got that $100.00 back right at check out ! will probably will return to stonegate again won't book with Expedia any more ! I just will continue to check for deposit it has been 2 weeks now!

Everything was good

It would be a more appealing establishment if there were outside adjoining patio to the pool area eg deck, patio & garden.l Thats it for me.

We found the hotel to be a perfect relatively inexpensive place to spend a one night get away. We would have no hesitation spending another night there should be occasion present itself.

Staff were friendly, continental breakfast was good, hotel was quiet and we were upgraded to a suite which was nice. The bathroom had mould growing in the shower so that needs to be addressed.We noticed lots of dirty bed sheets piled in the corner of hallways which is a safety issue for people like me who use a cane. They should have been placed in the laundry trolley. Some of the drywall on our floor was punched out from the frame looking very shabby and in need of repair. Would we stay here again-probably not. Sorry.

Hello, I have stayed at the Stonegate probably 3 times over 3 years. I was on the second floor. They are renovating, or maybe it's finished, but the hallway leading to room 212 is under some construction. The entire place is very shabby. The bathroom in the room had drywall or dirt in the corner, and there was hair in the tub. The beds are very soft, and the pillows are next-level hard. There was a slight smell in the room which kept me awake. I am disappointed that when booking, a disclaimer is not put forth that the hotel is under renovation or something. The choices in Orillia are bleak, so I'm not sure what will happen next year. Not worth the money.

We enjoyed our one night at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are renovations happening at the hotel. While the decor may be thought of as old in the lobby it is quite charming and welcoming! Our guest room was clean and refreshing, the bed quite comfortable. I’m not a fan of the smaller pillows but they we okay for the night. Location was good for our needs, and easy to find.

Not so good: Breakfast is the exact same every day & has been for many yrs. Corners of bathroom floor & top of baseboards very dirty. Dead plants on either side of front entry. Every picture frame is covered in dust. Good: Comfy beds & bedding Clean bathtub & sink Clean kitchen area Lots of parking Grocery store across the parking lot Close to downtown area
