Room is clean and well equipped for tourists to have a pleasant stay there. Staffs are very nice and helpful. The town was quiet and beautiful. We also enjoyed some time in the Opera House. Will be back next time.

This is our second time to stay in this hotel for vacation. Highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good place to stay in Orillia. You can feel like a home once you step in this hotel. Good services with a reasonable price. Thanks again for the great efforts of the staffs in Stone Gate Inn. Thanks for giving us a wonderful March Break.

its a fantastic location for family gathering. The inn isn't very big but it is absolutely a great place for us with good breakfast and helpful staff.it is doubtless to stay in again.

Do not book here. The hotel is under major renovation. No mention of it anywhere, so i want to save you from the issues i went through.

Breakfast ok. Check-in was very slow. Before completing our registration, about 3/4 of the way through, we were left standing at the counter for 10 minutes, with no idea where clerk went.

We have stayed at Stone Gate a number of times over the years. First the positive, comfortable bed and there is a nice breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately the first room we got, a 8" chunk of plaster had fallen from the ceiling by the bed, and there was another chunk ready to fall. The next room we got was an upgrade, but there were bits of plaster stuck to the bathroom floor and both lights in the vanity area did not work. (The light in the shower/toilet area worked). We hope Stone Gate will maintain the property as we like going there, but may look at other properties if we are going to Orillia again.

Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The bed was comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. I was also impressed with how clean the washroom and bathtub were. I really loved having the kitchenette—it came with basic utensils like plates, cups, spoons, and forks, which was very convenient. The location is excellent as well, right beside a Foodland retail store and close to Cochiching Beach. It was also very easy to find. Breakfast was great and a nice bonus to start the day. Overall, a comfortable, clean, and convenient place to stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The kitchen is compact & well stocked with utensils & dishware. The lighting in the bathroom was poor. The beds were very comfortable

Rooms were very nice. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was satisfying. Staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. No complaints.

I booked a night at Stone Gate because it advertised a private hot tub, bath robe, breakfast. When I arrived we were told they havnt had hot tubs in years nor do you get a bath robe, we were very disappointed and because I booked through Expedia there was nothing they could do. I even tried to pay the difference to get a better room and they wouldn’t do it. We stayed because I had already paid online, the room was ok and breakfast was fresh. I probably won’t go back again. 😟
