Just at the outskirts of the historical center with easy access with a car and a short walk to the attractions, this hotel offers a comfortable and tranquil place to stay. Rooms are generous in size with comfortable beds. Breakfast is generous with cooked to order eggs.

Tudo ótimo. Quarto, café da manhã. Tudo. Não usamos a piscina. Dica. Estacione fora do hotel, praticamente em qualquer lugar…grátis ! No hotel 24 euros….jogado fora.

The room and building were very austere. It is not a warm or welcoming place. We have stayed in other Paradores.

This is probably the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a magnificently well maintained, centuries old building with respect and thoughtfulness given to every aspect of the hotel. While it’s hundreds of years old, the amenities and facilities are modern without taking anything away from the oldness of the building. The grounds too are impeccably kept and the entire experience of it is simply amazing. I loved it here and hated to leave.

Beautiful old convent from 1500s converted into hotel 1928. Beautiful dining room. Very large suite with two sitting areas and a larger 3rd sitting area outside my door! Amazing setting for peaceful getaway. No English on TV Though!
