Je crois ne jamais avoir été aussi déçue d’un hôtel. Nous avions demandé à l’avance un lit parapluie pour bébé. Ils nous avaient dit que c’était possible. Au final j ai dû descendre trois fois à la réception pour qu’on finisse par m’en prêter un à 21h Nous avions une réservation deux adultes et deux enfants. Ils n’ont mis que deux serviettes. Même chose obligé de demander cette fois uniquement deux fois. Ils ne sont pas très agréables. L’hôtel est vétuste (certes il est en rénovation) Le petit déjeuner (pourtant très standardisé dans ce coin) était mauvais. Très difficile d’avoir un café.

Hotel is under construction. No access to lobby except through parking garage. Breakfast dining facilities were relocated to a conference room. Rooms do not have AC (disabled) and the rooms get hot. They provide a fan, but the window to the outside opens only a crack due to safety cord. Terrible nights sleep with stuffy heat in the room and road noise and loud drunks in the late evening. Food service was questionable. Rooms were not consistently stocked. 3 couples had varied amenities or lack there of on the same floor. If the hotel is going to be in a remodeling a discount should be offered for those staying in the old rooms and putting up with the many inconveniences. Definitely not as represented in the offering.

Fijn hotel, op zeer korte (loop) afstand van het centrum. Ruime kamer, gijn bed. Ontbijt okay.

Hefty charge for Parking and 3,50 gbp charge for swimming cap. It was difficult to get coffee at breakfast. The room had a door to the adjoinjng room which was very noisy. Next room parents with a small kid were staying. The noise started at 6am and only stopped when they left for breakfasg at 9.

Breakfast was excellent great choice of food

Fantastic location very close to city walls and beside the river. Hotel was undergoing renovation in June 2025 as it is becoming a Hilton property. This was my second stay in 7 years and I hope the friendliness and reasonable pricing does not change. Parking is under the hotel in a very well hidden and small area. If you get a spot you will not want to move until check out. Parking an SUV would be quite a challenge. I hope to come back to this hotel one day.

The staff was extremely helpful and courteous! Made our stay very enjoyable!

Beautiful location- but they are in the middle of construction so it makes it awkward to access the lobby - need to use the lifts all the time

Great location, friendly staff clean rooms. The bar is a great place to relax after playing golf. We’re seeing the city.

Had a good nites sleep

I had booked deluxe double and was given an upgrade to a suite on seventh floor was delighted with it. It was really comfortable

Under repair. Didn’t get Hilton Honors points. Great staff, though.

This property is undergoing an extensive renovation however, there is no excuse for dirty cutlery and no attempt to replace when pointed out. Also coffee brought no milk no condiments on the table. Waitress just seem disinterested. I know it’s going through a refurb but they could try and show a bit of warmth to guests. Also bar service quite slow and no urgency to serve waiting guests. Should be transparent on £14 parking fee when making booking.

Great location and views from upper floors. Parking wasn’t easy but check in out was.

We stayed 1 night when in Derry for a wedding. The hotel is extremely dated, although undergoing renovations as recently taken over by Hilton’s Doubletree brand. Our room was large and served its purpose but overall not terribly soundproof leading to a disturbed nights sleep from children being left to run wild up and down the corridor. Contributing to the poor nights sleep was the uncomfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was a good offering in a room that will be lovely once renovated.

Had I known in advance of confirming the booking that renovation work was being done, and sawing and hammering would start at 7:30 in the morning, I would not have stayed here. A complimentary drink on offer didn’t compensate for the annoyance.
