Visited on Monday 15 June. No staff to check in, just a door bell to security they then let you in to get your key from a key safe inside. No dinner or bar on Monday nights so went to the pub over the road. Double Room petite and bijou but adequate. Left before breakfast so did not speak to any staff during our stay!!!! On our previous visit we did have a very nice breakfast. Recommend it but don’t expect to be pampered, more like an Air B&B at least on a Monday or Tuesday.

Lovely property with all rooms within reasonable distance of the car park and reception. Very polite and highly trained receptionists. Room good size, nice coffee maker, clean fresh comfortable bed with nice pillows. Enjoyed trying out the Dyson hairdryer. Bath nice and long. Water was right temperature for bath or shower but it went cold a couple of times. Breakfast was very good I enjoyed both the buffet and full English. Maggie was particularly helpful and there was another receptionist (Sally?) who made me feel welcome. Would like to stay here again if im in the area. Did not try restaurant but it looked good.

Loved it, great place, great location, great staff and even tried their other pub for food (which was amazing with amazing staff).

Great team especially Hannah, who is a customer service extraordinaire. Also excellent food for dinner, breakfast and bar snacks.

Can’t believe The Five Arrows is being listed under Expedia as a hotel. This hotel is absolutely rubbish. No restaurant, no checking in staff after 4:00PM. Really?

Walkable to Waddesdon. Road noise from lorries.

The room + bathroom were slightly smaller than expected for a 'deluxe', but it was very comfortable. Breakfast and especially dinner were delicious. We're not used to the pre-order system for breakfast so would rather choose on the day - but for reasons of saving wastage we can understand why. We were very impressed with the option to visit the manor for free as it's within the estate - we are NT members anyway, but it was refreshing to be offered the option. Bed was very comfortable & room temperature easily adjustable. one negative: no trouser hangers.

Very comfortable hotel, food in restaurant was outstanding.

The room was great and had all that was needed. although I booked late and it was the only one left.

Clean and warm room. Usual difficulty getting any shower gel out of the fixed bottles. No staff during the night. Monday and Tuesday no evening service in the dining room or bar!! Excellent meal at The Lion over the road! Would visit again.

Bedroom heating was not good, needed to get an additional heater from reception. Breakfast quality and service has deteriorated since last visit.

The road noise in the room was very loud. The room was cold when we first arrived and the water was not that hot.

The room was lovely and the staff were fantastic. Watch out if you arrive on a Monday or Tuesday evening as it's not open and check in is via a intercom. Food in the restaurant was amazing both at Breakfast and Dinner.

Been here before and still a lovely stay , warm welcome , lovely rooms and the restaurant was absolutely excellent, staff five stars
