Lovely traditional pub, wonderful atmosphere everything clean and great attention to detail. Room quite sweet. Lost our food order for dinner which led to an hour's delay. Were apologetic. Despite this would happily return,

As our family live in different parts of the country we try to meet up once a year. We chose a ‘gem of a place’ with The Helyar Arms! Fabulous atmosphere/ ambience. The staff were so kind and friendly and our accommodation was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Such a pretty place with an abundance of brightly coloured hanging baskets and a beautiful ‘secret’ garden to the rear of the hotel with ample seating. An excellent place to stay👍

The room although it was a large double had no seating to relax in your own space. There was an annoying step that encroached the room. The pub was very beautifull set within a beautiful village.

We stay here a lot as the pub is an absolute delight. Everyone is very welcoming, the food is delicious, and the rooms delightful. Great place to stay when visiting the area.

Nice hotel for East Coker village

What a pretty pub. When we arrived all staff lovely and helpful. after a change cmw down for deinks and was so dog friendly. We didnt eat as eaten before arrived but it was well attended sonwould come back another time. Bed comfy, weren't affected by the pub re sound. Lovely and cosy.

Relaxing character heritage building

Nice place to stay, can’t comment on the food as didn’t eat there. Rooms basic but comfortable, toiletries, hairdryer, kettle etc all provided.

Great room. Really quite so good sleep. Breakfast was excellent.
