The hotel staff are good especially reception and the gym but the spa which I was looking forward to it Wasn’t great You have to pay extra so my husband couldn’t use the facilities even though I had 3 treatments Which were not great the therapists are only just out of training yet they charge full price I must admit I was lucky with my facial which was excellent But the whole spa experience is not worth the money

Absolutely outstanding hotel. The Vines restaurant was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Can’t wait to go back.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, excellent facilities, the vines restaurant was a real treat and a big bonus the we didn’t have to pay to use the spa as the leisure centre had a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and pool that was free for hotel guests to use.

I would prefer it hotter but it was warm enough. Food was delicious, very good quality, staff extremely helpful and friendly, spa is beautiful with wide range of facilities.

Excellent destination for a young family. Great facilities, food was perfection, we loved it. I would say not all the staff were particularly friendly but it was a 5 star experience other than that.

A lovely property, enjoyed our second trip as much as our first. Staff are helpful and friendly, and the spa was amazing (food is great too!)

Staff are attentive and polite. Room was clean apart from build up of dust on hairdryer filter which created a burning smell.

Clean, modern room, very comfortable with a fabulous view of the grounds. Staff were very helpful and the open areas of the hotel were warm and welcoming.

We visit every Christmas and the condition of the hotel gets better and better each visit. So good to see a property being invested in and maintained. The rooms, staff, food and bar are really excellent. Only very minor gripe - some smoked salmon at breakfast would be nice.

The Hotel was presented well on the drive up to the carpark, well maintained and clean, The entrance to the reception area was lovely, Christmas trees and plants a very nice touch. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, a smooth check in. We got upgraded to a larger newly decorated room, which was spacious and clean, two negatives the bed was very hard for us , only our preference. The next was the room had a extraction system in it that ran all night which disrupt your sleep. Unfortunately for us it also had a fan on the wall outside the window,so had sleep with windows shut. We had a meal in the Elements restaurant which was lovely and the staff looked after us well. The cocktail bar was fantastic with a musician George playing the piano beautifully, even played us a song for being newly weds. The pool area is great, but it would of been nice to have a couple of loungers around it. We treated ourselves to a spa day which was special, we had the weather on our side, and it wasnt to cold. The treatment was relaxing and professionally done. Overall the hotel and grounds are very special, and we look forward to staying again.
