The best hotel in Braga

Staff friendly,clean room the breakfast was really good the swimming pool is great. Beautiful hotel

Property is in good condition location and space are very good restaurants space is plenty breakfast selection good but hot breakfast item were limited Spa health fitness fitness equipment are good and spa facilities are very good Reception staff are not efficient or and many do not understand English we were stopping there for wedding we were in hotel at 11:00 given all booking details could not find any thing so one reception staff passed on to others and even others took nearly hours to verify our booking and told us you will get room between 2:00 and 2:30 but we did not get allocated room until 3:30 and then could not find porter to bring bags to room not a good start We were in room 318 stayed in hotels for 3 night from 5th September 2025 Bathroom have no door and only sliding door between toilet and shower sliding door could not shut fully on shower side so water will spill in bathroom and make floor wet toilet seat is not proper and it slide and loose On one morning we needed water bottle restaurant staff charge us 7 Euro for it which is fine and other day we went there to get water bottle from restaurant and restaurant staff charge for same bottle 3.60 Euro ... One off the night after pre wedding event we came back late in the night we could not get in to our room as our card could not open our room door they tried everything and make few phone calls eventually after over an hour they managed to open our room and issued us new card One of the lift was stop half way

Overall, a good and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rated four stars because I thought they were a bit miserly with the coffee, one little packet per room despite dual occupancy. WiFi connection is great, the place is clean, drinks prices are fair, the pool and gym area are excellent.

Amazing drinks and restaurant

Only 1 or 2 Reception staff at one time over the 3 days. Average wait to deal with any issues 20 mins. The hotel was full and only 2 of 3 lifts working to cover 11 floors . Average wait 5-7 mins. Multiple issues in room: TV had to be reconfigured, Telephone not working, bathroom face mirror had to be fixed, water leaking from bathroom tray. Spa and swimming pool are very busy as external visitors in large numbers on hot days. Breakfast was very good with big variety.

the rooms were clean to begin as days went by carpets in the room werent vacuumed could feel crumbs /dirt under feet ,complemertary water was not replenished daily staff were quite friendly the food in the restaurant was warm not hot the bar food was hot when ordered overall a pleasant place to stay

I loved the layout of the room itself, the amenities offered and the overall customer service of every employee there. The front desk was so helpful when I had questions. The spa was serene and it was an overall perfect weekend getaway. Highly recommend!! Will most definitely be returning in the future.

Beautiful hotel but not walkable. Parking was tough to find at night.

Comfortable and clean environment

Llegamos al hotel esperando una experiencia acorde con lo que prometen, pero fue todo lo contrario. El parking estaba completamente masificado; tardamos más de 40 minutos en encontrar aparcamiento fuera del recinto. Una vez dentro, tuvimos que esperar otros 30 minutos para hacer el check-in por la falta de organización. La piscina, igual de saturada. Imposible encontrar una tumbona libre o un rincón con sombra. Y para rematar, buena parte de los espacios comunes estaban reservados para una celebración privada, así que no se podía disfrutar de nada. Una experiencia muy por debajo de lo esperado para un hotel que se promociona con ciertas “categorías”. Claramente no está preparado para acoger a tantos huéspedes a la vez. No repetiremos.

The hotel had a fantastic buffet breakfast and pool. Incredible spa. Great drinks from the bars. Close proximity to the Bom Jesus do mont which you can watch the sunset from the top. Stunning views from there. The area directly surrounding the hotel are roads/highways, McDonalds and a university so this wasn't very scenic. Luckily the historical area of braga was only a short 10 minute uber away.

Staff were super pleasant and professional and, bar a wonky wall mounted rack in the bathroom that meant we had to put our soap on the floor, the room was clean and well kept. Air conditioning temperature is locked at 19 degrees centigrade as the lowest temperature possible. Not ideal for everyone especially as hot as it was. Overall, totally enjoyed the stay and would chose the Melia again at the drop of a hat.

Very nice hotel, great outdoor and indoor pool. Good buffet .
