The property was beautiful and clean the breakfast was good, as a Jamaican i had no complaints about the food, there's something for everyone, the staff was great and friendly and lil to no issues with the language barrier, the room was clean and we had an amazing view of the city, i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lots of choice for breakfast. It is a very large hotel. Therefore it feels a bit impersonal. But it is centrally located and has good facilities

I was amazed at the massiveness of the place and the clockwork the stuff maintains. We were allowed an early check in and that made our day. Excellent experience!

Im a world traveler. The Front desk staffs were no too friendly. The room were not soundprrof. Restrooms food were not 5star hotel quality or taste… i will not stay there again even if its half price

Great hotel and great location right in the middle of Panama City. The staff at check-in was very nice and helpful in explaining the hotel amenities and the area. I was on the 10th floor and I must say the floors did have a strong odor smelled like wet/old carpet. The smell was very powerful that one of my friends who was on the 9th floor had to have her room switched because she couldn’t take the smell, the odor was stronger on certain floors. The breakfast buffet omggg was AMAZING one of the best spreads I’ve seen for a free breakfast buffet. I mean they had everything you could think of and it changed slightly daily. The pool area was great and the staff was amazing our best hostess was James he was the bomb. Pool was clean as well as surrounding areas. The food poolside was amazing as well and the prices were reasonable. The cocktails were hit and miss depending on the bartender but they had a variety of everything. This was a family trip and my kids had a blast.

Two of my highlights were the breakfast which is unmatched and phenomenal! The dining area was always immaculate! Servers very hospitable. Then the pool area loved the vibe and one of the male bartenders middle aged can’t remember his name has to be one of the best bartenders hands down! Loved how when I made them aware of some issues dealing with my room they immediately addressed and fixed them. That speaks volume! I only have a few suggestions to make it a perfect review. Start having more face towels and drying towels on hand in the room. Especially when you know it’s two occupants or more staying. Secondly, the fridge seems to be warm around the top for some reason. We all experienced that issue (my group of travelers) causing it too leak and eventually it didn’t get cold anymore. Someone was sent up to repair it, thankfully. Lastly,it would be great, appreciated and convenient if the hotel (it being a 5 star) like most 5 stars would have an ATM on site. I found that pretty weird not too. At the end of it all I would definitely be staying again at the Rui and would highly recommend it to others.
