+ Great location! 2 blocks away from main street and 3 blocks away from old town, but quiet enough to have a good sleep (room was on the side of the busy street and could sleep very well!) + Breakfast was a big plus! It has eggs, cured meats, (tons of) cheese, fruits, (tons of varied) croissants, etc... small but highly efficient! + People were very nice and friendly + Parking in front of the property. A little difficult to find a spot on a Friday/Saturday night (given its closeness to the buzz), but good any other day (and free during the night until ~8 am)

O JR Hotels Oriente foi uma excelente escolha para iniciar nossa viagem pela Puglia. A localização é muito conveniente, permitindo chegar facilmente tanto ao centro histórico de Bari quanto à estação ferroviária, o que facilitou bastante nossos deslocamentos. O quarto era espaçoso, confortável e muito bem distribuído para nossa família de quatro pessoas, com ambientes que proporcionavam boa privacidade. As instalações eram modernas, muito bem conservadas e o banheiro atendeu perfeitamente às expectativas. O café da manhã era bastante variado, com buffet bem servido e ótimas opções para começar o dia antes de seguir viagem. A equipe foi sempre cordial e prestativa, inclusive oferecendo a guarda de bagagens após o check-out, permitindo que aproveitássemos um pouco mais a cidade antes de partir. É um hotel moderno, confortável e extremamente funcional, ideal para quem chega a Bari ou utiliza a cidade como ponto de partida para conhecer a Puglia.

Wonderfully cute hotel with great staff! It was the perfect location for us to submit paperwork for the Atto Notorio to get legally married in a multi step process. Thanks for the stay!

The JR Hotels Oriente Bari is a very nice property. It is located just a short walking distance from the historic center of Bari, The staff was attentive and the rooms were clean. The hotel has parking and if you are driving, you will give your car key to an attendant and he will park the car for you.)As we were driving, having a hotel with parking was a must - as finding a parking spot in Bari might take 45 minutes or more - if you are lucky. Please know there is a parking slot in front of the hotel to only unload your luggage and check in (however, this might be an issue to access if others are checking in at the same time). The parking cost is 25-30 Euros per day. The breakfast at the hotel was fine and generous. Regarding driving to hotel, please know that there might be some detours - so what seems to be an easy shot to the hotel, might take a bit longer (and your GPS won't help either). There are plenty of things to see and do in Bari. Do not miss taking the tour of the Opera House (Teatro Petracciello) right next to the hotel. There are tours several days a week at 10 am - both in English and Spanish. The archeological museum in Bari is also very worth visiting, as well as Bari Cathedral and the Basilica di San Nicola. You will need to spend a full day in the Bari Vecchio (old town) to visit most of the sites and enjoy wondering around the maze of streets and sopping at craft shops, as well as having a nice dinner in old town as well.

Loved the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Large selection atbreakfast. Very central for visiting Bari old town and new. All in all a lovely relaxing stay Would highly recommend We had no problems

O hotel é bem localizado porém muito antigo , ar condicionado fraco e central não refresca o quarto , a recepção da chegada foi insatisfatória , não tem quem carregue suas malas O café da manhã abre às 7:00 o que atrapalha o quem vai sair cedo

Das Hotel ist leider sicherlich in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf einer Renovierung. Bei uns hingen sowohl der Spiegel als auch der Fernseher schief an der Wand, ebenso der Toilettenpapierhalter, so dass das Toilettenpapier ständig auf den Boden rutschte. Holz in der Innenseite des Fensterrahmes war matschig. Fernseher verlor - sobald man ihn gestartet hat - die Verbindung zum Internet. Wir hatten uns darauf gefreut, Fussballspiele der WM hier zu gucken - dies war leider nicht möglich.

We thought this hotel was charming. On arrival we received a friendly and efficient check in by reception. Our room was clean and we appreciated the very effective air conditioning and the small fridge in room. Breakfast was lovely and varied. Hotel was in a great location. Easy to park and near good shops and restaurants. Recommend!

O hotel é bonito e super bem localizado. Pode-se caminhar para a Bari antiga, para a praia e é cercado por lojas, supermercados etc. As instalações são boas, bem como o café da, manhã. Nos hospedamos nele por 3 vezes durante a nossa estadia na Puglia. Voltaria com certeza.

The hotel is in an excellent location. However, the hotel is tired and is in need of a remodel.

Very convenient location with parking directly in front of the hotel. The parking can be challenging to get as in any big city, but we were able to get a spot fairly easily. Easily walkable to shopping and the old town. The room was a bit tight, but not unexpectedly so. Breakfast was good!

It is a great location, walking distance to all the sights which we visited. The valet parking was also very nice. Breakfast was awesome.
