The European decor makes it stand out from the typical Japanese onsen hotels. The hotel situates at a hilly area and driving uphill required extra care when it was dark and snowing. The hotel itself is however worth the journey. The facilities are superb, especially the public bath. The 3 private baths are also popular and worth going. The view from the room was great. I loved the French dinner, especially the beef and cheese from local Hokkaido farm. Overall this is somewhere that wont disappoint.
