The hotel ir fair. Needs maintainance. Is old and you see the old not well taken care of. Breakfast is basic with no italian “feel”. Industrial juices, coffee is a nescafe auto machine, service is not great. What balances out is the pool and gardens. Gorgeous!!! Incredible view!! But then again, another thing that cluld be much better: pool bar closes at 2:30pm and the pool at 6pm. Jeep in mind that sun goes until 8pm on summer and it is e extremely hot. Theses hours could be better

Hotel excelente, num ponto de Taormina que fica fora da rua principal e é mais tranquilo. O bosque e a área da piscina são maravilhosos, com vista para a baía. Café da manhã completo, com muitas opções. Quarto muito bom, com sacada. Adoramos!

Kahvaltıları çok zengin çeşitliydi. Çalışanları çok nazik ve yardımcı olmaya gerçekten gönlü olan insanlardı. Oda temizdi, manzara harikaydı.

The pool terrace and gardens are wonderful the staff were incredibly welcoming. The food at the restaurant was outstanding. We will be back and will recommend the hotel to others. GRAZIE

Convenient location, clean property, air condition worked.

Let's start with the positives. The hotel has an unbeatable location/view, the grounds and gardens are beautiful, the swimming pool area is very relaxing, and the breakfast is delicious, with great-quality ingredients. Now the negatives: the actual hotel is falling apart, very old and even the refurbished parts are done in the cheapest way possible, making it look and feel off. I would have given this property three stars as I think it's a passable accommodation in the expensive Taormina, but I have to stick with two since on our first night the lamp USB in the room started smoking and was about to catch fire. Luckily, we were not fully asleep yet and able to catch it. Once we flagged it and followed up, the actual light switch/usb charger was replaced, but the melted lamp USB was plugged back in, making us question how seriously the issue was taken. The staff was apologetic and confirmed all the proper checks were made, but the fact that the melted USB was plugged back in didn't feel us with confidence. We've decided to drop it, not plug the lamps or any of our powerful chargers/hair tools and be happy it was our last night. This property has great potential, but it's far away from luxurious and definitely not a four star property.

Hotel con un potencial tremendo, por su ubicación privilegiada, su edificio histórico y tamaño del área externa, pero la gestión no hace justicia a la historia del hotel, piscina y servicios más propios de un camping, aire acondicionado justito, reformas durante décadas con estilos comerciales y no guardando la estética original, que es lo que pide, pero sobre todo lo que tiene bastante que mejorar es el personal, discusiones durante el desayuno entre ellos, personal de piscina metidos todo el tiempo en el bar, cuando toda esa area necesita un mantenimiento continuo, el personal de salvamento solamente se dedica a dar las toallas y a plegar las tumbonas, sería muy necesario que la piscina se limpiase cada poco de hojas e insectos, y que hubiese servicio de bar alrededor de la piscina, y tuvieses que ir a pedir.

Hotel Gardens and pool very good views for hotel were fantastic. Hotel it self is very tied and in need of reservation.

Det bästa med hotellet är den vackra trädgården och den stora poolen. Själva hotellet behöver en uppdatering. Möblerna på rummet och i de gemensamma utrymmena är gamla och slitna. Det var dock rent och badrummet i vårt rum var fräscht och nytt.

Excelsior Palace gets 5⭐️! Everything was perfect! Great amenities and location, wonderful staff and great food. One night the neighbors above me were very disruptive at night. The staff was very efficient at shutting it down and I got a good night sleep! I will go back.

It was great in general. Great location, good breakfast and good enough hotel in general for what you’re paying for.

We had a comfortable stay at Excelsior Palace Hotel. The pool was fantastic and a real highlight of the property. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Overall, a pleasant experience and a good choice for a relaxing stay.

Hadde dobbeltrom Delux. Innredning er typisk Italiensk. Litt gammel stil men helt ok. Litt støy fra gata om man ønsket å ha balkong åpen. Badet var fresh etter min mening. Ganske nyoppusset. Hyggelig personale. Veldig god frokost. Litt av alt. Fra egg og bacon til müsli og yougert. Kaker og croasant. Fint bassengområde. Men et minus var at det ikke åpnet før ved 09.00 tiden. Ville ta et tidlig morgenbad men det ble ikke noe av.
