Old Post Office Hotel is a decent hotel located conveniently in the town centre of Shrewsbury.

Right inside the central of Shrewsbury, wifi well functioned, room neat and clean, shared bathroom, but the bar on the ground floor was noisy even after midnight

This was my first time staying here or even being in Shrewsbury and I can honestly say it was fantastic. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and able to give me suggestions on places to visit during my stay. The breakfast was fantastic and food served during the day was also amazing. Room was lovely and clean and a good size. My only problem was the mattress on the bed was so hard it was difficult to sleep. Other than that thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Thank you to all staff

Good location. Clean spacious room. Breakfast very good. Fresh food delivered daily. Had a 3 course meal one evening and couldn't fault it. Reasonably priced. All staff very friendly and welcoming. Would return.

Rooms comfortable and really clean breakfast was good disappointed with bar as wanted a meal at 8pm was told they stopped doing food when on information it said 9pm. Enjoyed our stay apart from the food situation

My favourite place to stay in Shrewsbury. It's a gorgeous historic building in a convenient location and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, with a very comfy bed and the vegan breakfast was simple but filling

Staff very helpfull, the bedroom was cold when we arrived about 3.30pm.

Bar staff friendly, plenty of choices. The room was clean but the only problem was the pillows, not at all comfortable, the bed was slightly hard but acceptable. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly.

Very big room and bathroom the only thing wrong was bed was too soft for us, but everything else no complaints from me very friendly polite staff, good breakfast, good location, clean and spacious nice atmosphere in the pub. Definitely will be returning, and you can come and go toll whatever time you want.

Excellent value for money with great value food and friendly staff. Very old building with steep internal access stairs so could be difficult for less mobile client. To be fair to hotel this and possibility of noise from music nights are clearly highlighted in confirmation email. Overall well worth a stay if you don’t mind an old building converted as well as it can be while retaining authentic features. A good place to base yourself for a few days.

Our stay was fine. Bed was very unconformable and the band played on until 1am which is unreasonable when you have guests staying upstairs. 11pm would have been fine but past that surely is unacceptable. Breakfast was lovely and staff were nice enough.
