When booking through Expedia, the reservation and payment goes to the owner of the property, but in order for the reservation to be identified in the property system, the owner must manually input it - and this is the problem. The owner took my money, confirmed the reservation but never input it - so the staff at the property had no record of my reservation. Thanks to Expedia for fixing this, and I got a free upgrade. My recommendation for anyone making a reservation here, call the property after receiving confirmation from Expedia and make sure everything is correct in their system.

The spot by the water is nice. Sitting down at the dock was lovely. They are doing a lot of renovations. We stayed in a suite that was not renovated and it was quite dirty. Sheets were clean though. Online shows pictures of a breakfast but there definitely is not. I found the train going by to be quite loud in the night. Front staff is very friendly.

Clean room with great views and a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay, and will be back.

The parking was easy, it was close to our room. The room had a full kitchen but there wasn’t everything you need to cook, you would need to bring your own. There were a few items. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The check in was a close call. We still haven’t determined what went wrong or who’s to blame?? When we arrived they had no record of are booking. I booked a month ahead. We called Expedia and could not hear her, it was breaking up. She said she would try to call the hotel phone but never called back. Thankfully the man was able to move someone else who was checking in the next night so we could have a room for our 2 nights. But since I paid already in full I did not want to pay again and the man needed payment! It was a nightmare after 6 hours in the car and my dog was with us…we were tired and hungry. At the last min the man decided to check again and look at all the bookings for that weekend. He said that Expediia got the dates wrong and booked us in for sat and Sunday night not the Friday and sat. So thankfully he was able to get his payment the next day. Everything about the check in was terrible. But our stay was nice and comfortable. Warning, if I book again anywhere I will be phoning and asking for confirmation!! It could have resulted in us not having anywhere to stay!😡

Our stay was okay. They need to make major improvements with keys getting into rooms. Several of my travelling companions had problems getting into rooms. Owner was not very courteous when called upon to get people into their room. They could not get key to work and were locked out of room. Owner was rude.

Yes the view was really good an I didn't know there was a hot tub

Room had no fire alarm and was extremely hot. When we were leaving on the last day, the snow wasn't shovelled by check out time. Many thinks about money and damage deposit. It's okay for summer but not a hotel establishment.

Good value and great location for day trips around Lake Ontario and the Seaway.

Great location, easy jumping off point for all things in the west end of the city.

The staff were so friendly and gave us information on the area as we were there for an open house at St. Lawrence College and to see a Frontenac game. The room was spotless and beautiful.

The room had no closet. The coat rack is on the wall practically hanging over your head when you are in the bed. The place was full of spiders and cobwebs. There were gaps near the door and air conditioner that were so wide you could see right through them. The roof and wall were covered with stains where bugs had been squished months ago that were never cleaned up and just left there. The shower curtain was growing mold. I should have listened to the other reviews and picked somewhere else. The location was convenient for my stay but everything else left much to be desired.

Room was crowded and old... beds were comfortable. Yard sale type appliances. Only thing good about the air conditioner, was it almost drowned out the noise of the ftains whistling outside the room all day and all niht.
