The Cavendale was very clean, in an excellent area for visiting the beach as it was just over the road. I had a room with a beach view but you sometimes get a view of the port area it’s not a commercial port. There’s no worry. It’s just a good view as well. The staff are really helpful bonus for me when I was there was that there was actually a fan in the room to be used obviously at the moment we’re going through a heat wave this is June 26. The building is a listed building so it’s not brand-new but it is okay. There is no lift there and I was on the third floor so it was like a 50 step climb to the room so you need to be fairly fit if you get one of them rooms breakfast was really good fantastic choice.

Perfect Hosts perfect location and highly recommend

Lovely situation right in the thick of the esplanade. We had a 3rd floor room which was an error on our part. There are no washroom/ toilet facilities apart from in you room. I did not have breakfast (my wife did and said it was v good) I have mobility and balance issues so if I needed to go to the washroom it meant climbing to the third floor. OUR mistake, so for us/ me I would not go again. I love weymouth and next time I will consider the facilities more thoughly before I book. Thank you.

Perfect stay friendly hosts excellent location

Everything was outstanding, breakfast was 10 out of 10. Hosts Richard and Sam were very friendly and helpful. Room looked over the beach, other rooms here all have either beach or harbour view.

Found this little gem whilst looking for a short break to Weymouth. Location is perfect, situated right opposite the beach and adjacent to the harbour. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options. Having a fridge in the room was an added bonus, particularly during the recent hot weather. Highly recommended!

A traditional seaside B&B with an equally traditional welcome from Richard and Sam, very nice full English breakfast and a brilliant location by the harbour and beach. Views over the harbour or beach (we had two rooms on the top floor for our family so had both!)

I liked the position of the property, close to beach and the harbour also the town and it's many shops.

Everything about the hotel was good, food service, cleanliness,views and staff, definitely coming back here

Slike møter gjør turen enda mer verdifull. Ja, jeg mener at gode møter med folk er det viktigste av alt. På forhånd leste vi om den gode frokosten på The Cavendale. Det stemte. Med utsikten mot stranda storkoste vi oss med toast og omelett, bacon og syltetøy, kaffe og eplejuice (ikke alt på en gang, altså). I den lille spisesalen satt andre gjester vi kom i prat med. Det ble nesten som en familiefrokost med noen av de samme folkene hver morgen. Sam og Richard er et funn for alle reisende, som skaper trygghet og glede på turen. The Cavendale anbefales på det varmeste. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake. (Og takk for tips om vinylbutikker, selv om det ble dyrt for meg).

Nice clean B&B. Comfortable beds. Tasty breakfast. The decor was nautical and holiday themed and put you in a good mood for the day. Beautiful view of the beach and the harbour. Easy to walk to shops and seafront. Beach was just across the road.

Experienced at providing the best for their clients, They work as a team to make your stay as comfortable and interesting as possible. Every corner is tucked and polished.
