We had excellent hosts at the George Borrow Hotel the food was of very high standard. Would highly recommend this hotel.

On way back home we book this place and we was surprised by the view they have in back garden the food from restaurant and staff was just Amazing. Room clean and had everything you needed for overnight stay. Definitely worth to spend night there.

Food was especially good; we had dinner and breakfast. Property is old but well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is right off the main A road so very handy for travel with parking spaces out the front. The room and bathroom were a decent size as well as clean, comfy and well equipped. The shower was nice and powerful. The grounds to this hotel are really lovely and the pub/restaurant itself was decent with nice staff and delicious food. Point to note is there is nothing around this hotel so make sure you check times and book in for evening meals if needed.

The room was airy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast. They poured a fresh local pint also. The parking was easy.

It was a lovely stay. The staff make the place amazing. There’s a wonderful waterfall right out back and free parking. Would definitely be coming back here.

Very friendly welcome in a lovely location.

When I arrived I received a very warm welcome from the owner and all of the members of staff that I met. I had an excellent dinner on two nights at the hotel and once again the staff were excellent offering a very personal service. On one of the nights the restaurant was quite busy but it didn't affect the great service or the time it took to prepare my meal. It was the same at breakfast where the choices were excellent.

We stayed overnight as part of our motorcycle road trip. This was a very nice hotel with very friendly owners and staff, and suited our needs perfectly. They made us feel welcome from the start. They let us keep some of our bikes in the garage for security and parked thei car across the bsck of the bikes left outside .. We didn’t have an evening as we'd already eaten en route, but breakfast was very nice. All in all, we had a great overnight stay and were made to feel welcome from the start. We will definitely be staying here again on next years road trip..

Warm welcome upon check in, generous sized room and en-suite for solo traveller, comfortable bed, equipped with kettle, tea, coffee, etc. Very enjoyable dinner in-house and also breakfast. Staff were very helpful in recommending places to visit. Would be very happy to return.

This was a stopover on the way to local sights in Wales. The room was a bit disappointing. We didn’t find it super clean, the ceiling was low(top floor room), bathroom small, shower didn’t drain well… with that said it was quiet and the little restaurant was decent. We had dinner and the server was very nice and made sure we had what we needed. The meal was ok. We have stayed places much better for less.

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It has mesmerizing views and good food. Staff are very friendly .
