Der Walliserhof ist sehr zu empfehlen. Tolle Lage, sehr gutes Frühstück und besonders die topbesetzte Rezeption muß man erwähnen. Kompetent, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Great hotel and very friendly people. It's just a few minutes walk to the station for the train shuttle to Zermatt. Nice quiet environment. Good breakfast!

What a quaint hotel!! Very close to the train to get to Zermatt. Very good breakfast. Friendly, accomodating front desk. Unless you are Asian. There was a marked difference between how I was treated compared with some Asian guests whom I suspect did not feel welcomed. The pool and hot tub are unique and quite nice! Rooms are not huge, but adequate.
