It was a great stay.

Staff were all friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean. Enjoyed touring the property and museum. Dinner in the restaurant was mediocre,but we did have an enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely one night stay. The staff was very kind and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the view is the kind they put on postcards. The rooms aren’t the height of modernity, but considering the history of the place I think that would have been jarring. Definitely a fun place to come with kids!

Location of the stay was awesome. Lo over the lake between the valleys and the authenticity.

Loved loved the view the heated indoor pool and hot tub. Likes the snacks at restaurant and nice souvenir shop. Our only hotel spot in 40 yrs.

The whole area is beautiful and well kept. Beds are very comfy and gardens are lovely. Bonus 1/2 price ghost town tickets with stay.

This property is unique, staff is friendly, rooms are clean/comfortable and the ghost town is great! We have stayed this property many times over the years and plan to again in the future.

A beautiful pristine location. The rooms were smelling musty. The carpets are old and soiled. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Chateau was very impressive, comfortable beds, quiet room, nice lake view. Hot tub and pool were very warm. The ghost town and train ride were interesting to explore and learn about BCs history. The restaurant's food was disappointing (the breakfast - microwaved eggs and packaged hollandaise). Dinner (burgers) were good.

This weekend, my wife, my son, and I visited Three Valley Lake Chateau. It was their first visit and my first time back in over 30 years. As a child, I attended Bell family reunions here in the late 1980s and early 1990s, so returning was both nostalgic and meaningful. As a descendant of the Bell family, I believe founder Gordon Bell was my 3rd or 4th cousin, making this place part of my family’s history. What impressed us most was how much the property has grown. Surrounded by stunning mountain scenery and the crystal-clear waters of Three Valley Lake, the setting is breathtaking. But the real attraction is the endless exploration. Between the Heritage Ghost Town, historic buildings, antique collections, trains, vintage vehicles, museums, and countless hidden treasures, there are hours of things to see and do. Every time we thought we’d seen it all, we discovered something new. We especially loved the quirky charm created by decades of expansion and remodeling. Former outdoor motel walkways have been enclosed and transformed into unique interior corridors, creating a whimsical, maze-like atmosphere full of surprises and character. Watching my wife and son discover it for the first time reminded me just how special this place is. Three Valley Lake Chateau isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience. If you enjoy history, unique attractions, and places with genuine personality, this is a must-visit destination. Highly recommended.
