Overall Good

Die Zimmer waren klein. Wenn man Gepäck von einer Kanadarundereise dabei hat, war es in unserem sehr eng. Des Weiteren war das Hotel sehr hellhörig und das Gebäude von außen etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis ansonsten ganz okay.

Great stay in a fantastic location – just minutes from everything! The hotel is very clean, and the front desk (they recently add on) was extremely helpful throughout our visit. We had two rooms, and one was ready for early check-in at noon, which was a nice bonus. Our car was too tall for the indoor parking garage, but the staff went out of their way to secure a spot for us at the neighboring hotel – incredibly convenient and thoughtful. The rooms feature hardwood floors and look freshly renovated. The only minor drawback is that the doors are a bit hard to close, likely due to the building's older structure. Also, if you have noisy kids, you may want to keep them in check, as sound carries. Overall, we highly recommend this place!

Hotel was clean and it was in a great location

The two sets of steps to the front doors were difficult for me and my friend with Parkinson’s, because the top steps were shorter in width than the lower steps. This made it difficult to get your balance. There was no elevator, which I should’ve checked before I made our reservation. It’s in a nice location for walking, but parking was difficult to find, and costly when I did find it. The staff was helpful, but were not always readily available at the desk; they had to be reached by phone from the outer entrance way, down one of the uneven set of stairs.

A few positives did not outweigh the negatives. The positives - great area to walk and see Old Quebec. Beautiful historic building, updated with modern amenities while maintaining the charm, good air conditioning and wifi, loved the private balcony off our room. The negatives - no parking and nearby public lots we were directed to were all full so after unloading the car we ended up parking in a public lot at least a 20 minute uphill walk away. No fridge in the room was a major inconvenience. Room very small, bed not comfortable. Just espresso machine in room with only 2 pods, so no regular coffee for us in the morning and none set up in the lobby area for guests. No elevator in this historic building so second floor room required some lugging of suitcases etc. no offer or ask if we needed assistance upon arrival. Only 1 not so comfortable chair in room to sit.

Un séjour très cher pour un hôtel de qualité moyenne simon médiocre. Le séjour devait inclure un déjeuner et une terrasse. Rien de cela. Pas de porte savon, pas de verres, air climatisé déficient, lits inconfortables et Service très ordinaire. Beaucoup d'autres petit hôtels bien mieux dans les environs pour le même prix.

Very clean Too expensive (365$ can) / day No parking, One friend was locked outside the room late at night, could not open the door, the staff was not reachable for 1 hour.

Location was excellent, quiet, safe and walking distance to everything. The room was charming, comfortable and clean. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

Beautiful chateau in a gorgeous location. Unfortunately parking is challenging as we could not park outside of the building so you are walking blocks with your luggage and taking multiple trips. The room was also incredibly hot and the AC would not get colder despite multiple attempts. Overall beautiful property and great location.

This property reflects the charm of the area. It could use a better entry with wider steps at the thresh hold. Needed more room to put away my clothes.The location is superb.

It was exactly what we expected. A room and bathroom in an old building. Quaint and charming. Clean and close to everything.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Our room (Room 3) was quite large. Despite our room facing the road, it was quiet. The only "noise" came from the main door slamming shut whenever people came in and out of the hotel. In the three nights we stayed, our room was never made. It could've been because we periodically returned to the room to rest (and take advantage of the excellent air-conditioning), but I'd encourage housekeeping staff to attend to multi-night rooms first, then clean checked-out rooms. The staff, however, were kind and helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic location...within walking distance of everything!

NO SOUND ISOLATION The room is next to the street below ground floor and right below the staircase of the hotel (like in Harry Potter) which brings a lot of noises and vibrations. It is also located where the pipelines go through and where the employee’s rooms and washing machines are located so prepare yourself to have noises constantly even at 4.30 am when the employees wash the dirty bed sheets left on the floor earlier in the common area) NO HOTEL STANDARD-LIKE SERVICES It felt like a walk in / walk out type of hotel with no real reception after working hours. No water fountain was available so you will need to drink from the sink. The cleaning was done approximately with a lot of dust left and the sink was damaged. Side note: Do not go there with a friend, the shower door is made out of glass and right in front of the bed. The bed was confortable and the appliances were nice otherwise. PERFECT LOCATION You will be located in the best area, close to everything so that is the real benefit. However for the price of the room and the quality of it, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Perfect location close to every thing seems like. After a couple of days we found the patio and enjoyed some time there to just unwind for a while.

Nice room in a great location. Few amenities, but probably normal for the Old Town area.
