很有历史的一家酒店，也是入住后看餐厅里的资料才知道还有个鬼屋传说。闹鬼的马厩已经改装成大厅，还可以承接婚礼。周围是农场，很美，但是没有什么可转的地方。住宿的价格是非常实惠了，但是餐厅不便宜。菜做得很像样，进餐前在酒吧尝了杯scotch，好喝。

Overall in need of repair and upgrading. Vanity mirror light broken impossible to do makeup in bathroom far too dark. Sink badly cracked.shower tray rocked! No soap holder in shower so all shampoos had to be put on floor. Laminated floors so badly layed that almost every floorboard didn’t just creak they screamed. Outer buildings and main building not been painted for years. We almost drove past it thinking THAT! can’t be our hotel it looked so run down and seedy. Obviously the owners, Inspired Hotels don’t know the meaning of the word inspired. We will never, ever stay in an Inspired Hotel again. They obviously don’t care and have no pride in their business. If they think this is the way to run a successful business, they are going to be sadly disappointed.

Enjoyed our break away at Lathones. staff work very hard to please their customers some people make it very difficult for them but they are always polite to them .I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel .Hope to be back soon .

Nothing fancy for sure, they need new mattresses and pillows. Fine for a short stay around st Andrews - not bad for the money

It’s a beautiful property and the room was clean and the food was really good. We did the breakfast option in the morning and the service was nice.

Of the 4 hotels I stayed in in Scotland, this was the best. A short drive outside of St Andrews with rates a fraction of the cost of hotels in town. Parking on site was easy. On site restaurant was excellent. The fish and chips was the best I had in the country. Staff was amazing. Rooms were in excellent condition. Property was unique and looked like a small village.

The place was lovely and generally the stay was great, only small downsides were the bed was a wee bit too hard for me and I woke up a bit sore and the WiFi didn’t work in our room but other than that it was a beautiful setting, clean room and would recommend anyone who has a wedding in St Andrews to stay here super close to drive to.

The place is really lovely. We really liked the structure of the place and the surrounding. The only issue was that it was really cold. The room was large and the radiator was only mildly warm. The bathroom did have a radiator but it was not working, so it was very cold.

Decent value for spacious accommodation - a large room and bathroom - let down a little by the noise from cars passing at high speed. My room (room 10) was facing the A915, and was quite close to it. It's not a busy road but it's a straight stretch and vehicles pass with a burst of sound. They will be your wake-up call, around 6am, if you haven't been woken in the night. The room was also a bit cool, even with the radiator turned up as high as possible. This is partly because the room's probably too large for the radiator. But, the room was clean, comfortable, and had a kettle and a coffee maker. The shower worked well and was hot, and the people I saw briefly at reception when checking in and out were pleasant. I didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment on the food. If you intend stopping there, try to ensure you get a back room.

Great location close to St Andrew's. Restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner, staff was friendly and attentive. A little dated, could use some polish, but great for price.

Room on Main road quite noisy through night disturbed my sleep.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful, I was only staying one night whilst on a business trip but would highly receommend

What a wonderful surprise this stay was! When we first arrived, we were a bit worried considering how old the small inn looked. But, the room was everything one who enjoys old world charm combined with modern amenities, and loads of comfort and character! The restaurant served a scrumptious dinner, as well. And, those surroundings were just as lovely as the rooms.

Road side rooms. Very uncomfortable car passing by sounds and vibrations. Could not sleeping at all. Advice not to keep this on sale at your sites.

Had a lovely stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was tasty. Our room was a nice size and jacuzzi bath was great. One tiny complaint would be the floor in our room was soo creaky so if someone got up in the night for the bathroom the other was woken by the noise (even with our whitenoise machine on) A Larger area rug might help?
