The overall was good, except the safety! There was a guy stalking on my floor. He knocked our door and eavesdropped on us.

Ich war schon mehr im The View Hotel und fragte im Voraus für ein Zimmer mit Balkon gegen das Pier ausgerichtet, was super geklappt hat. Vielen herzlichen Dank! Ich hatte ein wunderbares Eckzimmer zur Einzelbenützung mit super Aussicht und jeden Morgen schönem Sonnenaufgang. Ich habe jede Minute genossen. Das Zimmer hatte ein sehr bequemes Bett, Wasserkocher, Klimaanlage, Safe, TV, Dusche und sehr tolle Pflegeprodukten im Spender. Es wurde gesagt, man kann fürs erneute Benützen die Frotteetücher hängen lassen, was aber leider nicht geklappt hat. Alles wurde jeden Tag erneuert. Schade. Statt eines Bügelbrettes/Bügeleisens würde ich einen kleinen Kühlschrank begrüssen und ich vermisste eine Box mit Kleenex. Das Zimmer wurde täglich sauber geputzt. Leider war der Balkon und die Scheiben sehr schmutzig, was sehr schade war. Ich vermisste dort auch einen kleinen Tisch und/oder Hocken damit man eine Tasse abstellen könnte. Es hatte nur einen Stuhl. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig mit sehr leckeren Speisen. Ich vermisste unverarbeitete Haferflocken und/oder Porridge anstelle der vielen sehr zuckerhaltigen, verarbeiteten Cereals und Granola. Alle vom Personal waren äusserst freundlich. Der Strand ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ich kann das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen und werde es sicher wieder buchen.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff were very very helpful.....service went above and beyond (particularly when i left my car keys on the desk and the receptionist came to find me before I started to panic!!).

Lage ist super - direkt am Strand.

I have stayed in many hotels in Eastbourne normally weekends but I have to say The View Hotel is the best I have stayed at the View it's in a nice location right on the seafront(says in the title) the staff are friendly and helpful the breakfast is amazing and if you don't drive everything is in walking distance from the main station and good for solo travellers I was given a single room with balcony over looking the seafront amazing! will not look at other hotels in Eastbourne this has everything 10/10

Helt okey, bra läge nära stranden, fin utsikt, minus att hotellet valt att anordna en fest under vårt familjerum med mycket hög musik som slutade vid midnatt. Rummens standard okey men börjar bli slitna.

This feels far more like a 4* hotel than a 3*. The room was perfectly clean, a good size, with a comfortable bed and perfectly adequate amenities. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout. Highly recommended.

We love this hotel and have stayed lots of times great breakfast and the night before we stayed at banatyne which was so over priced compared to this great hotel with the best location on the seafront.

Really nice hotel, nice lobby, nice bar area, nice restaurant , the only thing letting it done was our bath shower screen. The bottom trim had nasty blacky/green mould on it, we were only there for the one night so there was no point in complaining about it & moving rooms.

We've stayed at The View several times, it does everything well and has been consistent over many years. There's nothing quaint, or exceptional, but it is all you need, the breakfasts and Sunday lunches are excellent

Aivan loistava paikka majoittua. Sijainti todella hyvä ja huone siisti ja tilava. Aamupala kattava ja runsas sekä maukas. Hotellin henkilökunta todella avuliasta ja ystävällistä. Taidamme majoittua tuolla toistekin. Kiitos

Reception staff are amazing. I stay a lot at The View the staff don’t change and they get to know you. Breakfast staff the same always friendly with a smile. Breakfast is amazing. Bar staff are great. Bar food needs changing it hasn’t changed at all. So as a regular it gets boring. But lots to eat around. Gym is good too.

Very good position in Eastbourne for the tennis and Devonshire Theatres. Nice room over looking the sea.

The hotel was a really nice place to stay. We were in Eastbourne for the tennis and it was close to that and we had a beautiful view of the seafront. The room was quite spacious and the breakfast was very nice. We also visited the cafe for dinner one night and used the gym. Had a really enjoyable stay here and would recommend.
