Booked a room with the river view, and it does has a very good landscape view. Location is very near to the old town and walking distance to all major sightseeing attractions, very convenient. As it's not in the middle of the old town, thus the area not noisy at all. Very good with the thoughtful of offering snacks and refreshments in the kitchen all day long. You can enjoy a coffee or soda with snacks anytime. However, the breakfast is rather simple, no hot food at all (visiting during winter time!). The room size is small, as expected. Simple and with basic supplies, no tooth brush, no slippers, one bottle of washing fluid does it all, no refrigerator. While the room is clean and the housekeeping is doing good job of daily cleaning. The front staff are nice and helpful. Overall, it's a good hotel and recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the OKKO Hotels Lyon City Center. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and always had a smile. The location is great as well...it's about a 22 min tram ride/walk from the Central train station or a 25 min walk. It's proximity to the city center was also great (less than a 10 min walk). The breakfast was nice with lots of options and a good value for the money. The only small negative was the layout of the room. Since I was traveling by myself it wasn't an issue, but the location of the bathroom wouldn't provide a lot of privacy for more than one person. You had to step up into the bathroom, and it faced the bed, so when you opened the bathroom door you were at the foot of the bed. Maybe a bit awkward for more than one person sharing the room. Again, as a solo traveler it wasn't an issue. Would definitely stay here again.

While the staff was fabulous, the room itself was difficult. The room made us feel very uncomfortable. Topping it off was the bathroom/shower area. It felt incredibly voyeuristic because the area was in the bedroom and had glass walls with widely spaced louvers through which we could see into the bedroom while using the toilet. The shower and bathroom had awful drainage, with all shower water flowing into the bathroom without any stoppage. The shower/bathroom were also configured so that we had to walk through the actual shower to get to the toilet and sink. It was so strange. Plus, the AC wasn’t very good.

Séjour ok La chambre avec balcon est bien

We had a very friendly welcome. Really liked the bar/club area where you can help yourself to hot drinks, soft drinks and snacks. It provided welcome refuge in the heat. On an evening staff come round taking orders for drinks /aperitifs. We booked a premium room with amazing views across the river to the Notre Dame Cathedral. The mattress was comfy. Unfortunately however the room was small for two people with limited storage. The bathroom is cramped and also affords little privacy from your partner. The balcony is small and didn’t feel particularly safe. The big issue was the aircon which unfortunately was nowhere near adequate for the weather we’re increasingly getting and the room was uncomfortably warm. I knew this would be an issue as soon a I saw the outdated control button. We didn’t complain as there’s little staff could do and I’m sure they’re well aware what it’s like having to work there everyday. Breakfast has a large offering but less so if you’re vegan like us. There was just about enough with plant-based milks and yoghurts but it would be easy to add a few extra things with universal appeal like mushrooms, spinach or some avocados. Location is excellent, convenient for the main attractions but pretty quiet. The rooms are well insulated from the sound outside with double windows. Overall we liked the hotel, enjoyed our stay and the staff were lovely. We feel sad leaving some negativity but we would not stay again due to the small room and inadequate aircon.

The staff is very helpful and so pleasant. Their lounge area is comfortable and spacious. It was a comfortable stay.

Air conditioning is no good. I cannot sleep at night, the rest is very good.

Perfect location with easy access to the main train station and main sightseeing, shopping district and old town

Staff were exceptionally helpful & kind.

The stay was excellent, and the staff were welcoming and professional. Our room at OKKO Hotels was consistently clean, and the air conditioning worked well throughout our stay, which made a huge difference during the heat. The guest lounge was a comfortable place to relax, and the complimentary evening aperitif was a nice touch. We truly appreciated the honesty, comfort, and quality of service, and would gladly stay here again.

Hôtel très bien situé pour des touristes qui veulent visiter Lyon en marchant. Endroit propre et personnel serviable. Par contre, nous y étions lors de la canicule et l'air climatisée ne fournissait pas bien les chambres en général (commentaires recueillis de d'autres clients séjournant en même temps que nous). 1ère nuit difficile. On nous a changé de chambre dès le lendemain pour une chambre mieux climatisée.

Okko Lyon is fantastic! Lovely hotel, comfy room and friendly staff! They have a lounge for all guests to make use of too complete with coffee, massive selection of make your own tea and cake!

Large rooms and great staff, weak air conditioning and ok snacks. Great location.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room had an amazing view over the river and we could open the full length window and look out over the city. The included breakfast and afternoon snack were excellent with comfortable seating areas to relax. My only criticism was that the air conditioning in our room didn't seem to have much of an effect. It was very hot 35c so struggled to sleep a bit. The location was perfect for exploring the city. Would stay here again.
