Seems hotel prices are getting out of hand and now check ins are not till 4.

We stayed for two nights while sightseeing and were happy to have chosen this hotel. Jordan at the front desk checked us in quickly and later solved a small issue with our key card rapidly and with a smile. The restaurant was good and we went twice for dinner. Our server Amy and the rest of the staff were happy and did their jobs well. The room was clean and quiet and the pool and hot tub were great to use to relax before bed. Nice place to stay when in Golden BC

The morning after the night we stayed whilst checking the bed to make sure we had left nothing in there we found false eyelashes on the sheets, neither my husband or I wear them so they obviously hadn’t changed the bedding from other travellers. Disgusted that my husband had slept on dirty bedding we told the male desk manager who was not helpful or apologetic he implied we should have checked bed before getting in it. Call us old fashioned but one assumes paying 250a night for hotel clean bedding would be included. Also your pet friendly rooms need a carpet cleaning as even pet owners do not want stinky carpets. Your hot tub could also do with regrouting. We will not be staying at this hotel again on our many frequent trips to see family. Disgusted

Prior to the arrival of the motel, knowing that we would be late cutting into the last check-in hour, we called. The gentleman was very reassuring that he would wait for us. Upon arrival the person whom I spoke to on the phone was very accommodating, making sure we were all settling in before he closed the office and left. Thank you for being professionaL

Das Hotel an sich war ok. Zimmer sehr groß, Badezimmer auch, alles war sauber und man konnte die Fenster offen lassen, Fliegengitter waren vorhanden. Personal war sehr freundlich. Whirlpool und Fitnessraum haben wir nicht genutzt. Unangenehm war nur dir Geräuschkulisse von draussen. Nach vorne die vielbefahrene Straße mit vielen dicken Trucks, nach hinten hörte man die Züge die ganze Zeit. Da kann das Hotel natürlich nichts machen. Auch zu den Nachbarzimmern war es etwas hellhörig.

We stayed at the Prestige Inn Golden for 2 nights in May 2026 as part of our Vancouver to Calgary road trip. The hotel is conveniently located on Highway 1 and is a short distance from Kicking Horse resort too. The hotel does what it says on the tin - provides a bed & some amenities. On site is a restaurant and liquor store. There is a pool and jacuzzi which are a good size, indoor and a decent temperature. We were helped by Heather & Meghan on reception who were cheerful and efficient, working to move us from a pet friendly room. Additionally they accommodated taking in a parcel for us. We ate twice - one dinner and one breakfast - in the onsite restaurant Raven & Pine which we would recommend. The dinner service in particular had people from outside of the hotel dining. Portions were good and a wide selection of options. We booked this hotel due to its location for Golden Skybridge and were not disappointed. We also went into the town for one dinner and one breakfast.

Major issue for us…slippery access bar in tub. I almost fell getting in. Hazardous! Otherwise good.
