The staff throughout my stay were exceptionally warm and friendly. Although there are quite a few stairs leading to the room, a porter was available to assist with luggage. On the first night, the quilt and sheets had an unacceptable odor, but after I provided feedback, the team responded promptly and courteously by providing fresh bedding. That said, the room's sound insulation is fairly limited, and the bed frame itself tended to creak—travelers who are sensitive to noise may want to take note.

The worst hotel experience in my life. The air conditioner's sound is terrible even I have asked for another room, no improvement - they are in same terrible condition. Also the room is a bit dirty, and hotel have no lift. The hotel do not accept credit card! Cash only! This makes my trip even worst…

The hotel is generally unkept and had a very damp mouldy smell at the bottom of the stairs. Our room was neat but I found a few stray hairs so felt like it wasn’t cleaned well. The shower had mould or atleast stained grouting and due to the floor we were on, I couldn’t open a window. There’s no fan in the bathroom so I always felt like it was a very stuffy room. The aircon looked to me as if it also had mould inside. It was black and spotty so either dust or mould, which made me uncomfortable given I’m unable to air the room. The pillows were very hard and some misshapen. The beds are very firm and flat. The staff here are ok.

Es verdad que la instalaciones son bastante anticuadas. Sin embargo, hay muchos medios de transporte cerca y el personal es muy amable. Limpian la habitación y cambian las sábanas y la toallas todos los días. Además la recepción funciona más 24h. Si solo vas a pasar tiempo en la habitación para dormir y poco más, este hotel es más que suficiente.

El único detalle que vería sería la falta de movilidad entre pisos para otras personas, ya que solo cuentan con escaleras. Si llevas maleta puede ser incómodo, pero el personal se ofrece también a subirla por ti.

El lugar esta bien, no es excelente. La atencion del personal fue buena, fue uno de los hoteles mas baratos que conseguí. No tiene ascensor, es una tortura subir y bajar todos los dias las escaleras, estabamos en un 3er piso y con varias valijas. No apto para gente mayor o con problemas de movilidad. Tampoco hay ningun tipo de opcion de comidas, ni microondas o pava electrica. Otro punto en contra es que solo aceptan efectivo y por ultimo, nos dieron una habitacion con vista a nada y muy encerrada, habia olor a suciedad, supongo que por la alfombra. A pesar de todo eso, el lugar es acceptable y el barrio es muy lindo con mucho comercio y restaurantes.

El precio es lo que más me gusta. Es lo mas barato que he encontrado en Manhattan con pieza y baño privado.

the hotel is right near colleges and above a nice pizza/bagel/deli and near Astor place and union square subway stations. I would 100% stay here again - great price compared to the rest of manhattan for small quaint quarters. It was a little noisy on the 1st floor from the street but nothing I haven't experienced at more luxurious hotels. I felt safe and slept well and the location was excellent. On Bowery which was a nice street when I walked south to downtown / seaport ~45 mins and 2 blocks from broadway which I walked ~45 mins to Times Square. Ubers weren't too pricey and trains were super convenient.

No frills Hotel. Good if you are traveling alone. Would not recommend if traveling with spouse or a family

Rays pizza was super.

Staff was very friendly. Not the most modern by any means but it was clean and in a great location. Will definitely stay again.
