We had an excellent stay at St Maur. The rooms are large spotlessly clean with fantastic ensuite facilties and a balcony with outstanding views. Parking is avaliable and hotel ideally situated for walking to the Botanic Gardens and Steephill Cove. The Owner and staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. Such a friendly homely atmosphere.

Beautiful guesthouse set in lovely tropical gardens. Very spacious bedroom with large comfortable bed, lovely decor, large 4 piece bathroom, a handy fridge, well-stocked hospitality tray, fantastic views. Spotlessly clean. Very peaceful. Excellent breakfast choices with cereal, fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, cooked to order full English etc. Small honesty bar. David & his staff are friendly, knowledgeable & welcoming. Lovely 8 days spent fir my 60th Birthday - didn't want to leave!

Nice stay. Very clean. Property is dated and could do with updating. I presumed there would be parking onsite for all guests however, the car park is smaller than expected.

Friendly, family run hotel with beautiful gardens and premises. The spacious room and thoughtful furnishing created the perfect place for relaxing and taking in the lush view of palms, flowers, birds, Victorian rooftops and glimpses of the blue ocean with passing shops! We will treasure this memory of a 60th birthday vacation. Thank you.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, lovely breakfast, huge and well appointed room, bathroom and balcony.

What a find! A delightful family run hotel in a lovely little town on the Isle of Wight. St Maur is just perfect for a short or longer stay. It's spacious, comfortable, well-equipped and the owner and staff could not be more friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be coming back.

Lovely large rooms with superb views out to sea. David, the owner, receptionist, pianist and chef was great, very helpful and informative.

David and his staff were excellent hosts. We were greeted by the owner upon arrival and were given an upgrade to a larger room. Very clean and well stocked room with all one would expect from the corporates. Breakfast was equally excellent with nothing being too much, absolutely recommended.

We stayed in a very spacious, quiet and comfortable room with a large bathroom and a wraparound balcony overlooking the lovely gardens. Our host, David was very welcoming, attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

A beautiful property with lovely garden. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. Breakfast generous, including a variety of fresh fruit, staff friendly. We walked to the Botanical gardens easily and Ventnor is very close, walkable too. Parking on site and outside. Would definitely recommend.
