We stopped in Geilo because of the way back to Oslo from Bergen. We knew nothing before arrival but we finally knew that it’s the great place for skiing. After our arrival, we checked in at 7 or 8 pm but the staff still told us the necessary information. The room is spacious but the interior of the ground and underground are in progress of renovation. It will be better after it. The breakfast was good with sufficient choices. We just explored Geilo after it by the recommendation from the passionate staffs who also lent us the equipments. After the outdoor enjoyment, we had a coffee before our departure. Overall, we must stay with them if we go to Geilo again.

Nice room, comfortable bed. Could open the windows, which was good to cool the room down at night. Restaurant not bad - though poor for vegetarians.

I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Geilo. The staff are kind, the breakfast is great and the room was clean. The views are amazing, and the hotel is conveniently located on the ski bus route.

Store rom. Flott frokost. Det spesiell med Geilo hotell er de 3 svært koselige dagligstuene med peis. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Praktisk beliggenhet med tanke på skibussen som stopper rett utenfor. Også knappe 10 min å gå fra jernbanestasjonen, så veldig greit når man kommer med toget. Anbefales.

The staff was pleasant and the food was decent, yet expensive for what it is. After paying for the hotel you have to pay separately for parking to the tune of $30 USD per day. The shower floor is tiled in such a way that it is impossible to not flood the rest of the bathroom while taking a shower. The thermostat is stuck at 23C, so we had to sleep with the window open. Anyone’s key seems to work anywhere. We had some teenyboppers just pop into our room at midnight.

Imøtekommende personalet. Varm og trivelig atmosfære. Grei enkel frokost til fin utsikt. Fikk sjekke tidlig og oppbevare alle tingene våre der fram til vi reise.

Sauberkeit - sehr schlecht, TV Fernbedienung könnte man nicht anfassen. Frühstück - war sehr langsam oder gar nicht nachgefüllt.

Room was nice and clean with very comfy bedding and a gorgeous morning view of the ski hill. Dinner was delicious, and the staff were very kind and quick to assist.

Gammelt og stilfullt hotell, men flott holdt med nyoppusset rom med alt vi trengte. Koselige fellesområder med artige antikviteter, kanskje fra hotellets lange historie? Helt grei frokost med rikholdig utvalg og selvstekte vafler. Stort pluss for gratis parkering. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Trevlig personal, i receptionen, house keeping och frukost. Alltid ett leende på läpparna. Bekvämt och tyst på rummet, utsikt mot bergen.
