Fabulous stay at Florence House, excellent room and facilities and breakfast was outstanding in a beautiful outside garden area.

This is a very nice hotel the room was a good size and well presented, the bed was very comfy. The staff were very good, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent, a good range and very tasty. The availability of free on street parking is a big bonus. We will stop here again in the future

Lovely room, lovely hotel, staff and breakfast

The hotel is in a good location, close to the beach as well as restaurants. Parking is a nightmare if you wish for a free on-street parking permit though yo can upgrade to a reserved space for extra. The room was nice, if a little basic and the bathroom had no blinds or shutters on windows that can be looked through from the apartment block across the way. Staff were really friendly also. I had a good night's sleep and breakfast in the morning was in a lovely setting and was cooked perfectly.

Our second stay in this group of Boutique Hotels, and we were given a complimentary upgrade which was amazing!. The group of hotels have a small number of rooms, which makes them ideal for a quiet stay and the rooms are lovely and comfy. We had breakfast included which was nice and as part of their chain there is a local pub just up the road to have a meal in, should you choose. We had Sunday dinner there was lovely. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and helpful, overall 5 stars all day long and this will be out go to hotel chain in Southsea. A great find. Tip do book your parking though as the streets are narrow and not much street parking, so worth having the piece of mind you have a car park space ready for you

Very lovely place with lovely staff. We all slept so well and apart from the room being too warm.dispite turning radiators down, it was great, and we would stay again. Nice location!

Exceeded my expectations, very good central location for Southsea and easy walk into Portsmouth. Off road Parking is worth the extra as nearby streets are narrow for on road parking. The Staff are all great, the spacious room with comfortable bed and excellent breakfast - what more one ask for. We will return in spring to meet up with friends again.

Lovely hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

The property is in an old Edwardian home. Only issue is there is no lift & the stairs are steep. The staff was very accommodating & helped us with our luggage always. The dining room is very comfortable & the food is very good. The adjacent pub down the street is associated with the property & a short walking distance.

Really great property. Quiet. Nice breakfast. The British towel warmer/bathroom heater in my room was so cool. So glad housekeeping turned it on because I had no clue. As others have said, there is no elevator so if you're an over packer like me, be prepared to potentially lug your suitcase up 3 flights of treacherous stairs. 10/10 tho, would lug up again.
